I wanted the entrance to have a statement unlike the flat and boring one included with the set. I may revisit this one day and add more to the scenery, it features a small staircase behind the doors which opens the possibility for more.

My plan was to upload the entire MOC today however two Bricklink orders have yet to arrive which contain a couple of pieces to complete the model. I can ensure you it will be uploaded between now and mid-August 2016.

I cannot wait to finally share the results with you guys after working on this concept for three years with breaks in-between. It will be the biggest MOC I've ever created with over 3,500 pieces! (Yup, that part freaked me out too!)

I reckon I've come up with a new building technique using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 as rafters.

The advantages of using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 piece in this context is allowing the roof to be structurally stronger and they also represent the wooden rafters that go diagonally across a typical roof. Follow the link below to see the technique used in context.

It's the grand opening of the LEGO Brand Store!

On the busy street citizens can admire the window display models of Ole Kirk's House and 71040 - Disney Castle. Enter through the side door to discover a ground-floor complete with 2x4 Red Brick, counter, The Gallery where you can see LEGO sets on display, the shelves are fully stocked up with the latest sets and even choose your pieces for your own creations at the Pick-A-Brick wall. As you glance above you will see hints of Brickley the sea serpent (Mascot of LEGO) around the store and his head peeking through the opening which you can take a closer look on the next level. The next level contains more models built by the Master Builder and you can even master your own building skills with a real LEGO Designer (Jaime Beard.) The third floor is a contemporary apartment where a happy customer can enjoy their brand new LEGO set.

-Includes 7 Minifigures: male LEGO Store employee (Kevin Hinkle), female LEGO Store employee, Master Model Builder, LEGO Designer (Jamie Berard), male AFOL (Peter Reid), mom and child.

-Contains over 3,500 pieces, making it my largest MOC (My Own Creation) ever!

-The LEGO Brand Store features a LEGO Store and a contemporary apartment.

-Customise the store with various models, sets, building stations and even the counter.

LEGO has built several Millennium Falcons at this scale, the one included with the recent 75184 - Star Wars Advent

Calendar, is the best of the bunch so I've decided to perfect that model given how accurate it already is. I've changed several noticeable difference which ultimately improve the design such as weathering details, back lights and cockpit.

The next Modular Building '10255 - Assembly Square' will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the LEGO Creator, Modular Buildings.

With this sketch I wanted to explore and get my ideas forward on what I'd like to be featured and included before the press release which is rumoured for November 2016. I personally feel a LEGO Store in this product is essential to this concept, additionally this concept features an apartment building and a government building with a couple of trees and benches for the exterior. All of these features will be in the centre of four 32x32 Baseplates, the building would be half the sizes of regular modular building much like 10218 - Pet Shop with various heights. Maybe one of the buildings could feature a brick built sign much like 10182 - Cafe Corner.

I’ve captured and replicated the architectural essence of Caerphilly Castle, such as the iconic leaning tower and the ruins across the landmark.

The structure is designed to provide a true-to-life colour and relative scale depiction adding an extra dimension and feel of authenticity to this detailed recreation of Wales’ biggest castle!

Today I have finally reached 500 followers on Flickr, and the fact the 500th follower happens to be the extremely talented Nannan Z. is awesome!

I'll like to thank everyone who has favorited, commented and shared my work; without that I wouldn't have lasted this long and hope it continues as we progress into future :)

Future:

I have been uploading photos daily and I have finally come to see that it's over saturating my creativity and it's becoming less exciting. From now on I'll commit to at least one photograph, MOC or graphic a week. That way I can spend more time on other commitments and it will allow my work to have much better quality which is better than quantity.

Origins:

I first joined Flickr to upload a portfolio as requested by one the universities in January 2014, I didn't get into that university and instead went to Middlesex University (Hendon Campus) where I have completed my first year studying BA Product Design :)

I didn't avidly use Flickr until Summer 2014 when I entered the 'Neo-Classic Space MOC Contest' on Brickset Forum to produce a Classic Space MOC under 338 pieces. From that contest I created several MOC's which got me really engaged in MOC building and pushed me to create some pretty awesome MOC's which progressed to my recent photography which allowed me to present my MOC's in a professional and unique manner.

At low altitudes these ground crew maintenance systems are used to transport broken parts and engines from various ships using the highly technological claws.

NB: Please excuse the photograph, it looks way too muddled. It was the best shot J could take with my phone and the wide angle lens didn't help at all! I think my Neo-Classic Space MOCs don't look great on camera but I can assure you they look very cool in person :)

2016 marks the 25th anniversary of The Android\'s Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop’s first appearance in the twenty-first episode of show’s second season on May 9th, 1991 titled Three Men and a Comic Book.

This year The Simpsons theme has taken what I assume is a break therefore I found an opportunity to create the next model that would succeed 2015’s 71016 - Kwik-E-Mart. With superheroes and pop culture being a primary aspect of LEGO\'s relationship with many well-known IP\'s I found Android\'s Dungeon to be a worthy fit with the theme.

This highly detailed and iconic model of The Simpsons store is packed with rich, colourful details! Walk under the huge Android\'s Dungeon sign and join Bart, Millhouse and Martin as they browse the shelves filled with comics, collectibles, toys and more – including: Radioactive Man #1, 10182 - Café Corner, Itchy, Scratchy, Poochie figurines, Perky Patty\'s Princess Shop, Grand Theft Scratchy - Video Game, Malibu Stacy Doll, Star Wars (1977) - VHS, C3PO Bust and many more!

The Night She (Almost) Died. by Eichhorn_

A Lego rendition of the most iconic Spider-Man scenes. Combining my love of the webhead and the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge I built a two part diorama contrasting the original ASM scene and the USM homage.

I gave the scenes a distinct look by using diffrent colorschemes for each half of the bridge (bright daylighty tones for the 70s version and a more muted grey for the nighttime setting of the later version). lacking a satsifying USM version of the Green Goblin I had to do a brick-built one. I also came up with my own classic glider.

There are a few non-purist elements in there like Gwens coat and skirt, the headband is stickered with tape (could be a black cut lego sticker aswell) and MJs torso has some of the print removed (the name tag).

I hope this finally helps to get the Bridge some well deserved credit as crucial setting for dramatic scenes in Spider-Man comics, as it was missnamed in both scenes I chose (once as George Washington Bridge and once as Queensboro Bridge).
