One of the most surprising looks we obtain happens when website developer explain the price of your own domain name to a different or potential client. It’s still, probably the most frequently requested questions among new customers and so i figured I’d have a couple of minutes to reply to probably the most frequently requested questions around domains - most significantly - just how much will a website cost?
WHAT’S Your Own Domain Name?
Let’s have a small take a step back. What’s your own domain name? Your own domain name is the home on the internet. It's really a personal address, a company address, or something like that for entertainment (Robin Johnson Lovers…) but it’s the ADDRESS where your site (and to some degree email) will reside. Us humans are pretty bad at memorizing figures along with other figures, but natural language is much more easy. So a long time ago computer scientists made the decision that people needed a method to translate 64.233.178.99 - into something just a little friendlier - google.com - therefore, the website name was produced.
So the bottom line is your own domain name is definitely an address on the internet - a lot of figures that, when typed out (and everything behind the curtain is setup properly) an internet website developer seems.
I’ll spare the technical mumbo-jumbo around domains for Wikipedia (and you understand what Used to do a week ago within my Thanksgiving downtime).
Just How Much DOES Your Own Domain Name COST?
I am not answering that yet! Here’s the offer - domains are extremely affordable, we’ve bought, offered and transferred thousands through the years, but here are a few points to consider about domains that's possibly much more important compared to cost or cost:
An excellent website name is amazingly valuable.
Your domain (when combined with email) provides continual marketing. Every email you signal becomes an chance for the receiver to understand more about you.
Your own domain name can enjoy a vital role in the prosperity of your internet marketing (should you suit your website developer name to frequently looked terms it can be done far better with search engines like google).
Another cool web developer type vintage sign. This is along my running route on the Etobicoke Creek Trail. It marks a gate in the fence at Pearson International Airport that used to be restricted before they put the trail through. There's a newer sign to the left but they never took down the old sign. I also got a picture of the 403 and 402B signs nearby.
