Just a test, to see how the layout's gonna look, something like that. I'll post the complete site soon, maybe import to flash!

The web of one of the many golden orb weavers that live in our backyard. I like the way the sunlight shining on the web makes it seem like a path stretching off in to the distance

I remembered today was Web Wednesday, so I went and snagged a shot of one of the HUNDREDS of ground webs that occupy my yard every morning. Your guess is as good as mine for the species constructing these webs, as they are taken down every day just after dawn and replaced just after dusk! I've never seen a resident present in the mornings, but that doesn't stop me from trying. It's likely to be the work of the sheetweaver spiders in my area, but I won't know until I snag a good capture.
This shot was captured with my Vivitar (Komine) 90mm f2.8 Macro in 1:1.
Today I am grateful for my daddy. He worked for Weber's bread for over thirty years. My dad was one of ten kids and worked to support his family whilst he was still a kid! I admire him so much because he was an alcoholic and has been sober since I was sixteen years old. He also supported my mom and my family by working more than one job. He is an incredible musician and he is still running races to this day. He has beaten cancer and has a wonderful sense of humor. He is proud of his Scottish heritage and one of my favorite memories is that he walked me down the aisle in a kilt. Grateful for him in my life! 21/30
