Oh no, I see,
A spider web is tangled up with me,
And I lost my head,
The thought of all the stupid things I'd said.
Oh no, what's this?
A spider web, and I'm caught in the middle,
So I turn to run,
The thought of all the stupid things I've done.

Time to tidy up in the garden. Shrubs trimmed, grass cut, lavender finally cut back. Lots of webs to keep an eye on though, managed not to get a face full of spider :-/
A bit misty this morning, so all the spider webs were glistening with dew.
These look so pretty when they're like this, but I imagine the spiders themselves are rolling their eyes when they see how visible their traps have become.
A restoration of a damaged clip, but showing an interesting perspective on the back (presumably web making) end of the Tholian ship model from The Tholian Web. The ship sits on a stand in the studio. Another shot of the ship, from the side, can be seen here:

where the web making nozzle (if that is what it was intended to be) is just barely visible in side profile.
This relatively simple model was repurposed later in the third season as the Aurora in the episode " The Way to Eden " and can be seen as that ship here:

Sunlight diffracted through a tiny spider web. The parts of the picture that are out of focus magnify the amazing colors revealed through diffraction.
A cook at the Weber Grill restaurant in Schaumburg, Illinois loads charcoal into a chimney device in preparation for starting up another grill in anticipation of the dinner rush. The grill next to him was burning pretty hot.
One of four photographs on the cover of the new Luppitt Cookbook - a fund-raiser for our local church.
It's spiderweb season! Bring your branches or anything else and go to the forest for a walk to destroy many spiderwebs, because you want to go through the forest with no spiderwebs on your face. That is how I do it, but most of the times I go around the web, to not destroy it, but sometimes things happen.
