I wonder whether these dew-covered webs were made by two spiders or just a single individual particularly desperate for breakfast. Unfortunately it rather looks like there were no catches this time on either web.

This is one of the exit tunnels from the southbound Bakerloo line at London Waterloo. Its clean white tiles and spiders web look make it one of my favorites on the network.

The Nursery Web Spider (Pisaurina mira) is called so because the female makes a silken nursery web for its young and guards over it; she will not leave her egg sac until all the spiderlings have hatched and dispersed.
