I discovered three almost identical webs between the same trees this afternoon. When I went to look the mailbox, about an hour later, they were all three gone. They were way up in the air, so I didn't disturb them when I took photos....wonder why the spiders would take them down? Will have to keep an eye out and see if they come back to the same spots. Strange....
Web eyes, see them stare
Through the cold October air
As Autumn does invade
They see the beauty that is made
By vivid colours that now are there
As web eyes look, as web eyes stare
There were layers and layers of webs that were visible because of the dew. One shot looked almost gray because of the overlap of so many webs.
Saw these while out waymarking today.
Horsetooth Reservoir. The colors were so cool this night. Every direction was different and the colors kept changing.
It takes quite a bit of work to create a home that has a proper location and can balance on the upper tier stocks.
Oh yes if you look at the top left stock you will see a snail crawling without a shell.
Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.
