It’s always tricky to get these figures balanced just right. This is the fence blocking access to the Nothing billboard in Nothing, AZ.

As a kid I used to play a game where my friend and I would attempt to get most of the way home from church without touching the ground. It was quite the challenge especially navigating the tops of wooden picket fences and narrow cinder block walls. It would take us almost two hours to get through Kitty Hawk highway which was a shortcut sidewalk designed to go through the neighborhoods… fun times!

Captured with the over 100 year old Cooke Kinic lens mounted on my Olympus OMD E-M5 Mark II. I love the swirly bokeh this lens produces. My brother @talkingtreephoto gifted me this lens for Christmas. It’s so portable that it’s always in my camera bag. I’m lovin’ this figure too! Such a cool design and it’s got built in magnets that holds the clown face on the animatronic face underneath. The pick axe is also magnetic and sticks to the hand.

Got this new random art figure and I love it! This is my first foray into 1/6th scale figures, and the test shoot went well. I like the bokeh results so far but it’s definitely easier to pose and shoot 1:18 scale toys.

There’s this cool park near our house that has a giant slide and jungle gym - it totally looks like a space station or something. Anyhow, we call it the spaceship park. Makes for good night photo bokeh!

Traveling for work again and stopped for golden hour in the small Arizona town of Holbrook right on historic Route 66. I crossed the railroad tracks and stopped at this fantastic rundown rock shop that had concrete dinosaurs all over outside. It was random but I imagine they likely have petrified Dino poop or something of the sort - but it made an excellent backdrop for this figure. I stopped in to the A&W to get some dinner but the place had been closed all day due to employees not showing up… ended up eating at Romo’s around the corner and it was excellent. Now off to a conference I’m presenting at in Albuquerque, NM.
