Moving can become expensive! Inspired by Macro Monday's theme "Handle with Care", I captured a very real recent cost using my old, but well-loved Waterman rollerball pen.
Also, thanks to last week's theme to test the sweet spot of a lens, I used an aperture of f/9 rather than my usual f/2.8 or f/3.8.

We're Here with Smoke / Humo on the anniversary of the fire that destroyed Vancouver in 1886. On June 13 1886, a furious fire destroyed Vancouver in less than one hour. It ignited after flames from a brush-clearing fire blew onto dry brush just west of the city. About 1,000 wooden buildings—virtually the entire city—were totally destroyed. The next day, citizens began rebuilding the city, one piece at a time.

The sun lit up my neighbor's iris as I was walking to school pick up. This flower looked like it was almost glowing. Snapped this with my phone. I was thinking black and white because of the white petal outline, but here it is in color - and Purple - for PPS. #85/366?
