Kosovo Force (KFOR) Regional Command-East (RC-East) #Soldiers conduct range familiarization using multiple NATO ally and partner weapons systems at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, Feb. 2, 2023.
Swiss Army Capt. Martin Bruhlmann coordinated the training for Soldiers from the U.S., Switzerland, and Italy incorporating the M4/M4A1 carbine rifle, Berreta ARX160, and the SIG 550 weapon systems.
During the training Soldiers learned how to operate each weapon system, perform remedial actions, and engage targets during variable situations in the prone, kneeling, and standing positions.
Weapon training enhances the readiness and #marksmanship of all Soldiers from NATO ally and partner nations supporting KFOR and its mission is to maintain a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all communities in Kosovo, as mandated by the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999.

Glam rock band Semi Precious Weapons, on tour from their home city of New York, stopped through Dallas on 9/23/2010. After spending the summer touring with and opening for Lady Gaga, Semi Precious Weapons was making the rounds with New York singer and performance artist, Breedlove, as their opener.
The Executive Council met regarding the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic in relation to the Syrian chemical weapons programme. This really strange lightpost was at a really strange place that had once been a motel, but was now a "residence center". Truly bizzare, I got the creeps as some of the "residents" started giving me the stare and beat it out of there.
The rest of the place looks sorta googie, but really, really bad googie.
Did I mention how downright strange this whole place was? (Added Later: The name of this place, at the time of this picture, was the "Villager Inn" and billed itself as "Extended Stay Living". I found a shot I took of the front.)
