A lovely Sunday with the girl. She got a bike from Ray today and she is working on learning how to use it. When I tell her that we are going to learn to ride without training wheels this summer, she stomps her foot and says, "No!"
She will be 9 in a couple of months. It really is past time for her to be training wheel-free.
She is little and growing up is hard. I'm sure it is harder for her than for many. I need to remind myself of that.
We struggled a little with boundaries today. Some days are just going to be like that.

This was my first digital camera, whopping 2MP of photographic goodness. It seemed to be the defacto standard camera at the time. Everything on www.dpreview.com at the time was being compared to it.
I still use it occasionally, as it turns out it takes great infrared shots by simply attaching a Hoya R89 filter to it.
No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. But to sit there and nitpick someone for their past is wrong. We all have faults and things we aren't proud of but it doesn't make you any less than the next person. We are only human.
