The posters in the window give a quick history of the building, as well as a notice that the store moved. The picture on the left is what this building looked like when it was first built, versus another store that looks like the new one on the right. Wawa's been using that picture for a couple years now, so it couldn't be the actual new store.

The tourist information rest stop in Wawa is a very nice place to stop and relax.

My first-ever Pagoda sa Wawa experience! 'Got another taste of the famed Bulakenyo/Bulakenya hospitality. :-)

This is Wawa's new Folsom store, which opened in mid-2016, replacing their very first store. Even though the store number is in the 8000's, it still has all of the stuff commemorating the chain's history. This is their new flagship store.

The Wawa Dam was created during the American era to serve the water needs of Metro Manila. It used to be the only source of water for Manila until Angat Dam was built and Wawa was abandoned. Due to insufficiency of the water supply for Metro Manila, there is a strong clamor to reuse the dam. Wawa River located in Rodriguez, Rizal, Philippines is the name of the headwaters of Marikina River, a few kilometers north of the capital city Manila.
