Ross`s Goose in St James`s Park London.
The Ross's goose (Anser rossii) is a white goose with black wingtips and a relatively short neck. It is the smallest of the three "white geese" that breed in North America. It is similar in appearance to a white-phase snow goose, but about 40% smaller. Other differences from the snow goose are that the bill is smaller in proportion to its body and lacks "black lips". The dark phase is extremely rare.
Before the early 1900s, this goose was considered a rare species, possibly as a consequence of open hunting, but numbers have increased dramatically as a result of conservation measures.[2] It is now listed as a species of Least Concern by the IUCN,[3] and is protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
The Ross's goose is named in honour of Bernard R. Ross, who was associated with the Hudson's Bay Company in Canada's Northwest Territories. Members of the Hudson's Bay Company were the first Europeans to discover the arctic nesting grounds of Ross's geese in 1940.[2] The first recognizable description of Ross's geese, under the name "horned wavey", was given by explorer Samuel Hearne eighty years before John Cassin named it after Ross.
Down in Gothenburg today. Decided not to take my camera with me as the forecast was for downpours (and boy did it rain) so only had my rather cheap mobile phone. It turned out OK even if it was a bit pixelated in the clouds. Not normally into architecture photography but I saw this building on a friend's photostream so had to get a snap of it. I'll be back with my normal camera again once they've finished constructing this building (high metal fences around it limiting your angles right now).
No fisheye shot here, it's that way^^

This is a shot from Saturday evening. A good friend of mine called and asked if we should try some sunset shooting. We found a great place with some nice rock formations. It's one of those "I have to go back and shoot some more" places. Lots of climbing, walking, sore legs and wet shoes :) From Jeløy in Moss, Norway.

When I was coming back on Phantom Canyon Road in Teller County, these amazing striated clouds materialized just before dark. so of course I had to pull over to enjoy them. It was a good thing I did, as they were incredibly short-lived and gone in five minutes. A solid reminder that if you see an image (or anything else you want in life), grab it before its gone never to return. Life is truly a serendipitous and impermanent process! ;-)))

Yup , is this is meant to be a Leica then this cross-stitch camera would be the closest I would get . It might be a Fuji , but who knows ,
It might look a bit wonky but it is on the front of a small tote bag hanging up hence the wavey fabric . The bag is just right for keeping OS maps in while going out anywhere .
There was so many things to appreciate about this location. The wavey patterns in the sand, the colourful houses, the church tower sticking up in the skyline, the burning setting sun and the heavy clouds just above the horizon. A very good turnout for a spontanious trip! It's all handheld as I didn't bring tripod, didn't expect this so lesson learned...

...if only judging by that wavey reflection?! View "Large" to see it more clearly. The light was really reflecting off the third and fourth carriages, it's not a processing mess-up.
