Y 6 días después volvimos al mismo lugar en busca de las condiciones que se nos habían negado en la primera. Esta vez el agua corría limpia y pudimos entrar al río (eso si, con mucho cuidado ya que la corriente era fuerte aún, resbalaba muchísimo y no dejaba de llover). La verdad que la mayor parte del tiempo la dediqué a esta foto. Todos los helechos bailaban al ritmo que marcaba el aire que salía por la fuerza que traía el agua, sobre todo el helecho hiperactivo del primer plano. Metidos ahí en ese agujero la luz brillaba por su ausencia así que la velocidad de disparo tenía que ser lo suficiente rápida como para que no se moviera pero lo suficientemente lenta para que el agua tuviera un pelín de seda (no me entusiasma demasiado la seda, pero al menos dar al agua esa sensación de movimiento y fuerza. Además el diafragma cerradito para poder enfocar algo más sobre todo el helecho. Siempre que puedo, y como en este caso, intento que las fotos sean en un solo disparo para no complicarme mucho después a la hora de editar. Con esas condiciones y parámetros, os podéis imaginar que ISO usado es un disparate, pero para eso está. Adivinarías su valor?

Después de varios meses sin tiempo ni ganas de editar, al fin se han dado las circunstancias para ponerme a ello. Y no una foto cualquiera, si no una foto de un lugar que se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos. Viendo la foto comprenderéis el porqué. Otro sitio al que fui esta pasada primavera con mi amigo Juanma @juanmanuelfernandezlopez_ .
Por cierto los próximos 21, 22 y 23 de noviembre imparte un taller junto a @mikellarreabarquero (dos absolutos cracks de la fotografía y mejor como personas) y si se cumplen las previsiones podréis ver este espectáculo de la naturaleza en pleno otoño, la estación que mejor le sienta. Si os cuadra ni dudéis en contactar con ellos y apuntaros, lo vais a disfrutar como locos!!. Además está misma cascada tiene otro encuadre increíble y totalmente diferente!

Allá por septiembre del año pasado aún estaban los bosques primaverales. Así que como había llovido bastante esa semana nos embarcamos @juanmanuelfernandezlopez_ @mikellarreabarquero y yo mismo en una pequeña aventura. Además, como sabréis, imparten talleres por esa zona que pocos conocen tan bien.

Foto tomada el 20/11/2021, casi no logro recordar el momento en el que hice esta foto. Pero seguro que fue con @mardonss y llevábamos aún mascarilla en el coche. El caso es que rebuscando por el disco duro para seguir practicando las técnicas enseñadas por el máster @juanmanuelfernandezlopez_ en su taller de procesado, me la encontré junto con otras cuantas más. Ya le he encargado otro curso personalizado para seguir aprendiendo. Muchas veces gastamos cantidades innecesarias en aparatos y cachivaches que apenas usamos y nos olvidamos de lo más importante, la formación. Da igual el nivel, seguir aprendiendo para mejorar es parte de esta maravillosa afición.

Mooney Falls is such a beautiful place hidden in the Grand Canyon and well worth the climb down the ladders and chains along the canyon wall to reach the bottom of the falls
The falls are located on the Havasupai Reservation in the Grand Canyon and are nearly 200ft tall with inviting turquoise waters surrounded by the most vibrant red canyon walls.

Just before lockdown 11th March 2020 we visited the waterfall at Lynmouth. Was quite a long Journey if I remember rightly.

Rogie Falls has a series of lovely walks on the Black Water which you can follow to see the waterfall that is famous for salmon viewing.
This beautiful spot is situated off the main road to Ullapool just over a mile north west of the village of Contin. It offers several good forest walks. There are plenty of waymarked walks and seating at a viewpoint overlooking the falls.

This is the Black Water River, at Silver Bridge.
Hidden from view these falls should be a must visit on the A835 road to Ullapool. Here the Black Water falls steeply and fast over shelf after shelf of flat rocks. Two bridges cross the river, a modern one and the 18th century double arched Silver Bridge. This is a good place for swimming with a delightful circular walk down the river.
Malham Cove is a large curved limestone formation 0.6 miles north of the village of Malham, North Yorkshire, England. It was formed by a waterfall carrying meltwater from glaciers at the end of the last Ice Age more than 12,000 years ago. Today it is a well-known beauty spot within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
A peaceful trail in north eastern Victoria, located in between Falls Creek and Mount Beauty leads to this magnificent waterfall.

Charlie's Rock is a popular local swimming hole for jumping off the rocks into the water, near Kerikeri, New Zealand. It's a bit of a wobbly country walk to get there, through long grass, rocks and trees beside a river, however it's well worth the effort. Given the isolated locality, it's always fun to see how many people you pass, either going in or coming out. There's a beautiful waterfall and a large swimming hole surrounded by huge rocks. We went there yesterday - a lovely, hot, summer's day - all perfect.
