And you guys, write something in your photo box so that people can enjoy your other works of art too!!!
I start this series of mosaics to
Apologize for not having much time to comment. My life is in a permanent upheaval and my upcoming move to France tells me that the time of 'putting up my feet and relax' hasn't come yet. So please bear with me and don't discard me...
Thank ALL my friends, contacts, commentators and viewers for their kind, wonderful, funny, interesting and always great contributions. Sometimes ONE photo makes all the difference and saves my day, sometimes one comment or mail makes me smile - and sometimes I get sad over something. But that is the beauty of life, isn't it?!
1. Snow birds Welcome back Linda! You might start anew on Flickr, but your art is of the same quality as before and I am thankful to see you again. 2. Just want to tell you that Monique is back home Monique is a 'late discovery'; one I wouldn't want to miss for anything! Merci pour ton amitié et tes photos magnifiques :), 3. Tribute to naturesbest Debbie is simply wonderful, true and 'whole' - You can't but love her always thoughtful postings!, 4. Birds Anne is one of those people I gladly turn to when I need colours, cheerfulness and a smile! Just look at her photos and you see what I mean :), 5. The bird L'oiseau Geneviève - a precious contact to speak French to! Although she knows English better than I do French...!
6. A WING AND A PRAYER I admit I don't know much about Aoife (Peke_Cheeks), but one thing is quite clear: She is an outstanding photographer with an unerring eye and some pretty amazing titles!, 7. Winter Flight Evie is one of my earliest contacts and her art has evolved in leaps and bounds; I love her imaginative work and her painterly art; she isn't called Artsy Evie for nothing! 8. Reflections on Dock Robbie is somebody I am always thrilled to find again, although we don't converse all the time - see why and visit her thoughtful stream!, 9. A day in Rome. #6 Enikö MUST be seen to believe it; to me she's a master of pictures in nearly no need of words. She leaves me open mouthed with admiration, especially as I can't be short! 10. I'm in charge ....... Paula (or Really Rosie) lives around Totnes (Devon, UK) and that's how I got to know her work - but she could live on the moon and still I would adore her photos!
11. DirectionEhm... Jean-Paul is different - we speak French... which means I try to speak French and he does speak French.... not a regular commentator but when he does, it's well worth reading! You won't find much on either his or my photos, we exchange musical knowledge, AND he has some pretty great stuff in his portfolio! 12. waiting for spring Ingrid doesn't need any introduction, she's so active and yet finds time (sometimes) to comment on my humble pictures! An amazing woman with a great eye for small things and daily joys 13. Winterling Waltraud habe ich sehr ins Herz geschlossen, weil ihre Bilder direkt das Herz ansprechen; eigentlich müsste man sie in die Kategorie Natürliche Herzlichkeit - eine richtige Valentine - einreihen! :), 14. RED FLOWERS DANCE IN THE DARK Irene doesn't need to be introduced either, her marvellous photos speak for themselves - Danke für die Freuden, die du mir schenkst mit deinen fabelhaften Naturfotos! 15. balance Bonnie is probably my latest contact, but I've known her from long ago - she not only has outstanding, incredibly wonderful photos but she struck me when I read her warm, true comments on my friends photos. I am glad I've added her to my list of newly found friends!,
16. These Devon lanes.... Roy is a wonderful quiet nature watcher, perceiving the beauty of his home turf mostly around Exeter which is fine by me because I lived nearby in Torquay. He enchants me with his humble, truthful work and his steady way of doing things just right, 17. Chateau ChatelardSadly, I have lost contact a bit with Jen, who used to live nearby Montreux and always wanted to visit me in Lutry... Now you will have to come to France - but Lutry will still be here! :) 18. One of Those Days, I'll Always Remember No words do justice to my Lauri; she must have been my first friend on Flickr. She loves nature as she loves her family and she has one of the biggest hearts I've found so far. Visit her! 19. And then the wind changed direction and went offshore. A wave study Jason to me is a marvel; for being a guy he possesses the unique talent of sometimes coming up with words like a good girlfriend would tell you, and he carries his name Soul Surfer rightfully. I wish I could master a bit more understanding for his surfing.... as his photos are doubtless amongst the very best on Flickr. But he wormed his way into my heart with his ways with words too - just read his profile! 20. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Anne (Minerve) is another French spoken contact, she won me over with her stunning nature shots. And honestly, you don't need to speak French, I am sure you understand that lovely title! :))
21. Reaching for the sky Gurpreet shows us his impressions of his much beloved India with an intensity like I haven't often seen. He also must be one of my most faithful and always kind commentators. I am happy to see his words and try to visit his photos as often as I can, 22. Lend an ear, hear Lu(igi) is a proud Italian with an extremely talented way of spotting worthwhile 'camera food' and an extraordinary talent for his Ways with Words... - I tend to forget that he is not English when I read his thoughtful texts he composes to his stunning photos - a find on friends' photos through his comments!, 23. My rose, my spiderweb and my drops.... Now Tollen.... I don't remember how we got to know each other but she is such a wonderful and kind commentator and has such a rich collection of different themes in her work that it is a pure joy to get to know her, again and again, 24. Shooting Stars Shelley is a long time friend and she too gives me joy with her beautiful, true, natural and fresh work. 25. my personal christmastree and to finish off this list, Saskia, another very long term contact. She is an amazing photographer and what her eyes see, always enchant me. She has a great, great sense of humour and often makes me laugh out loud! What better thing to say?! :)
Furthermore, we have
www.flickr.com/photos/snaphappy77/ Angie, with such thoughtful and loving captures, words and a beautiful mind BUT she's reclusive.... You can only visit her if you are her friend! That's why I couldn't upload any of my favourites of her art.
