I spent some time with Glenn the watchmaker with his permission and captured him at work. Here he is inspecting a watch he has just repaired.
one eye watches
the other hides
not from the rain
but from what gathers beyond it
figures bloom in shadows
their edges run like ink
somewhere outside
a siren moans
then silence
long and wet as the sky
Today's theme is watch, I missed the deadline again :(

I love watches - I have a few, Seiko, Citizen, Rolex to name but a few.
On a recent cruise these beauties were for sale. Tempting, although I prefer Seiko. I resisted
I've been quite busy lately and not much time to shoot. Hopefully I'll have some new works soon, plus I still need to catch up on your stream too! Sorry about that.....

While driving around Los Angeles during our last visit, I spied this sign at a little shop -- I think it's the first (and so far, only) neon watch I've come across.
The vinyl "watches" likely isn't going to last long, but it looks like the neon is protected, so here's hoping it lasts for a long time.
