I made some changes. Most noticeable change is the windshield.

Small changes include more sloped front, lower overall height by raising maximum wheel height, slight changes to the rear, different brake light pieces used, back window, more overall stability

Still relatively new, the USAF sent a pair of UK based A-10A 'Warthogs' to the French open day at Creil.

Then with the 81st TFW based at Bentwaters/Woodbridge, 77-0263 later saw service back in the US, but then came back to the UK for a stint at Alconbury, but as recent as 2016 was in store at Davis Monthan AFB.

Sooo, Halo 4, anybody? ^^

After seeing Malydilnar's excellent 'Hog, I felt compelled to finally try my hand at one of the most recognizeable vehicles in gaming myself. And if you know me, you know I don't do things half-assed.

So, here's my LDD-take on the Puma, uhm, I mean Warthog.

The model features 4-wheel steering and suspension. Although for that to work properly, imagine the robot-hands near the wheels being replaced with minifig-hands stuck in flex-tubing.

There are some other details that I would change in real bricks as well, like the gun-barrel of the M46.

I hope I can build this for real sometime in the future. In the meantime, I might work on some other Halo-related LDD things until then.

I'm really scraping the bottom for some pictures for the groups.. This was from my visit to the Zoo many years ago.. Happy Fence Friday, Everybody!

Edit: Julie called to my attention that there might be a different animal in the pen so I went back to the folder and there was a sign that I took a shot of that said they were Babirusas.. Close but no Warthog...

I spent about two hours revising this Warthog. One hour to make the sides where it dips down for the seats slope out, and another hour reworking the back to allow this slope to work.

I'm happy with it c:

Phacochoerus africanus

The warthog is an African wild pig practically without hair, except for its long mane. It has two characteristic pair of moles in the face and big tusks, present in both sexes, although males’ are more developed.

A-10 Thunderbolt II over Airventure this year. This is probably the last time I'll see them fly.
