Dotted all along Witton Bluff walkway at Christies Beach are warning signs letting you know about falling rocks from the cliff face above.

This is the alarm that will sound if you get locked into the cold storage building and press the alarm button.
Beware - People with small children and pets! (One of my goals for the trip was to get an alligator photo. Checked this lagoon every time we walked by but never saw one.)
Well, I guess this sign was washed down the Derwent during the floods, ending up on Crosscanonby beach. Brow Top is in Workington. I imagine one of the roads leading to it was considered unsafe when the water was at its highest. And if the water was high enough to wash away the warning sign, then they were right to issue the warning!
Jill spotted this sign for me on the Duche Nut property. She was charged with ordering a new sign, but she has no idea what the sign is warning about.
Whilst I was inside the museum at Nottingham Castle I began to notice these little notices taped to the walls. Well, it was like showing a red rag to a bull, and no, I wasn't caught or spoken to!
