Thought I'd get back to some nature shots with this eagle/raven encounter.
I've seen and photographed tons of eagles take off. They always tuck their close 'fisted' claws up and into their body on takeoff. This one seemed to be making a statement to the ravens... follow me and the weaponry is ready! I have a number of shots before it tucked them up.

Many of you may have heard about warning signs that a moose is agitated but may not have witnessed it. Here's what it looks like. This cow's ears are down and back and the hair on her neck raised.
Her ire was not directed at us, rather at a young bull that was approaching her. She wanted nothing to do with him and made no secret of it.
We had been observing and photographing her for a while prior to the bull's approach and she had been very relaxed. She didn't mind being around people as evidenced by her hanging out in a campground full of homo sapiens.
Except for the behavior, this is not an image I would normally have posted. She is shedding heavily and the background is too busy, so not an attractive photo.
This unfolded in Grand Teton National Park.
This great grey owl is checking out the environment for rodents. Although not natural, its choice of perch is a good one, as there are open, grassy areas all around it. Those areas are where the voles hang out.

I just had to upload this picture of Asha as a Bunny as I had the caption which I think is funny. I love my funnies as they make me laugh and smile when I look at them and I hope they make others smile too....Happy Easter and remember don't eat this Bunny's droppings...they definitely aren't Chocolate...

Our little backyard lorikeet friend was giving me fair warning that he didn't like that zoom lens pointed at him and he was about take off. I'm glad he stayed around for just a few more seconds.

This year we had a very warm and long fall. Leaves and colors still hang around and there is no sign of early winter. Thankfully.
I decided to visit a little enclave of nature in the old quarry. Ducks frequent it and there are few resident beavers chomping happily at the nearby trees. But this morning was chilly and fog laid low over the meadow. A warning: enjoy the last moments of the warm weather. Inevitable cold is coming.

This Sweet Grass to Great Falls H-train was about the only thing happening in this lonely area of the state as they hustle through an S-curve between Kevin and Sunburst on the Sweet Grass sub. In the back are the Sweet Grass Hills, a prominent landmark in the prairie landscape, and can be seen for miles in all directions.
I suggest we
Learn to love ourselves,
Before its made illegal
When will we learn, When will we change?
Just in time to see it all come down
Those left standing will make millions
Writing books on ways it should have been
Floating in this cosmic Jacuzzi
Here we are like frogs oblivious
To the water starting to boil,
No one flinches and we all float face down...
She woke in the morning.
She knew that her life had passed her by
She called out a warning.
Don't ever let life pass you by.

We have heard such ugly divisive language coming from Trump, it has been this way since his 2016 campaign. He loves the game of campaigning but being a leader that unifies does not seem to be within him. I wish I could understand how people support him because it boggles my mind.
This stag was bellowing to warn off potential rivals from trying to take his harem. He had previously fought off a challenger who turned and fled rather than risk injury. There were other young pretenders in the vicinity so he couldn't rest.

I have had to work hard for every shot today, two waterfalls where we had to traverse down some dodgy paths to view and one mountain where we had to park up and hike the rest of the way.
Many people have either been killed or seriously injured at Elk River Falls despite all the warning signs, some people feel the need to jump from the top of the falls into the water and get it wrong.
