Hello Everyone,
I'm beginning to feel like a broken record as it is another day of bone chilling cold, -34C/-27F to be exact. It's Wannabe Warmer Wednesday and a Black-eyed Susan reminded me of the warm days ahead. WWW!

When the fire goes out the only thing left is ashes and memories.
And a sweet warmth that calms you ..
A new day dawns, a better day.

On a frosty and foggy morning, close after sunrise, I saw this lonesome traveler passing me with a firm tread. Can You see him ? What may brought him out of the warmth of his house on such a inclement morning ? How long is he on its way already ? Were is he heading to ? Many questions are arising in my mind and I can answer not a single one. To do that, I had to walk to him, talk to him and listen carefully. Thats how life works. Any answer I give to myself is like gambling and has nothing to do with truth. So I decide not to know. I let him go its way and in my mind I wish him all the best. Maybe You will remember this sometimes, when You want to judge others attitude ore behaviour not knowing anything. It would be better for both sites.
Wo will er hin ?

There are so many of these beautiful creatures hiding on my hard drive, and maybe it's just the time of year to set them free!
Taken during Tropical Storm Claudette. This shot reminds me of the warmth and love of God looking down on us. Have a blessed day!!

Iceland in September 2017 - one of the best vacation trips of my life! This truly beautiful lonely house has been newly built close to the Ring Road in the Sveitarfelagio Hornafjörður region (exact space see map).
This is a single shot at ISO 100 , 1/250 - Sony Alpha 6000 and a Samyang 12 mm wide lens) edited in Snapseed (free) on a tablet.
I do get a lot of questions regarding my processing with snapseed. I typically go to “tune image”, adjust the “ambiance” and then play around with the “brush” feature eg. “dodge and burn”. After these adjustments I typically add some tonal contrast.
I must say I love snapseed´s ability to smartly select areas for selective retouching; its Ambience tool provides a wonderful combination of brightness, shadow opening, warmth, and even incredible highlight protection all at once.
Thank you very much for taking the time to look. Hope you enjoy and potentially learn something! Big thanks to the amazing Flickr family out there!
