Another art from my hand sanitizer.

I made an artwork composed from various differently processed versions of the sanitizer. Then i sent it to my pc, where i shot it on-screen in the Pano Sabotage style. Then back to my phone for more processing.

The Quechua-speaking Cabanas, probably descended from the Wari culture, and the Aymara-speaking Collaguas, who moved to the area from the Lake Titicaca region, inhabited the valley in the pre-Inca era. The Inca probably arrived in the Colca Valley around 1320 AD, and established their dominion through marriage, rather than through warfare.

A poppy is a flowering plant in the subfamily Papaveroideae of the family Papaveraceae. Poppies are herbaceous plants, often grown for their colourful flowers. One species of poppy, Papaver somniferum, is the source of the narcotic drug opium which contains powerful medicinal alkaloids such as morphine and has been used since ancient times as an analgesic and narcotic medicinal and recreational drug. It also produces edible seeds. Following the trench warfare in the poppy fields of Flanders, Belgium during World War I, poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of soldiers who have died during wartime. Poppies are herbaceous annual, biennial or short-lived perennial plants. Some species are monocarpic, dying after flowering. Poppies can be over a metre tall with flowers up to 15 centimetres across. Flowers of species (not cultivars) have 4 to 6 petals, many stamens forming a conspicuous whorl in the center of the flower and an ovary of from 2 to many fused carpels. The petals are showy, may be of almost any color and some have markings. 25943

Another interesting piece of street art with a slight "kick" added by me. Shot taken in the Spitalfields area of London (UK).

A pair of ex-Conrail SD60Ms painted and lettered for Carload Express drag AVR-1 through "The Trench" after interchanging with NS at Island Avenue.

They are irreconcilable enemies, but it is impossible to fight all the time. And it seems that the German has won after all, we have to face reality :)

How come the only way to know how high you get me is to see how far I fall. God only knows how much I'd love you if you let me but I can't break through at all.

It's a heartbreak.🎶.

"Never Too Late" by Sonar

At dusk, as the last rays of the sun set the sky ablaze, she stood ready. A high-stakes mission had brought her to this tropical island, a paradise turned battleground. Despite the torrential rain, nothing could extinguish the fire of determination burning within her. Armed and unyielding, she knew the darkness of night would bring no relief, only new dangers to face. But fear was a stranger to her. She was a warrior born from chaos, and this sunset was just another day in her fight for survival.

To defend the Manor of Headford in what is now County Galway, Ireland from the O’Flaherty raids across Lough Corrib, the De Burgos built two castles, Annaghkeen Castle and Carigin Castle to protect it from attacks across the lake.

Annaghkeen Castle pictured here is remarkable for its construction technique, as it was built entirely from undressed stone, without any mortar or cement. The stones were carefully selected and fitted together to form a solid structure that has survived for almost 700 years. The castle measures about 15 meters by 8 meters, and has walls that are about 1.5 meters thick.

The history of Annaghkeen Castle is intertwined with the history of the De Burgo family and their feud with the O’Flaherty clan. They engaged in constant warfare with their neighbours, especially the O’Flahertys, who refused to acknowledge their authority or pay them rent.

One of the most famous episodes of this feud occurred in the 16th century, when an O’Flaherty chieftain invited a De Burgo envoy to his castle at Aughnanure, near Oughterard, to discuss the rent issue. O’Flaherty treated his guest with great hospitality and invited him to join a banquet. During the feast, however, he pressed a hidden lever that opened a trapdoor under the De Burgo’s seat, sending him plunging into the river below. O’Flaherty then cut off his head and sent it back to his relatives as “O’Flaherty’s rent”.

The feud between the De Burgos and the O’Flaherty’s continued for centuries, until both families were weakened by internal divisions and external pressures. Annaghkeen Castle was eventually abandoned and fell into ruin. In the early 19th century, a new manor house was built nearby by another branch of the De Burgo family, but it was also deserted after the Great Famine of 1845-1849. Today, both buildings stand as silent witnesses of a turbulent past. (Text lifted from the Visit Galway site.)

Sorry for the not so great build.

I will start a new diorama for the Purge today.

The yearly weed sprayer train on CN has made its rounds, with this year Davey Tree Service winning the contract. A shorter train than in the past, this one was far more colorful than in years past as the power added a lot with a former J SD38 as the primary power. Passing through Haslett, the train casts a perfect reflection on the small pond in Nancy Moore Park.

I slowed the firework explosion part down because it was rather quick and its fun to go frame by frame looking at the different shots

Also threw in some john williams because the war horse soundtrack seemed to fit the theme

Clumbering along, dragging your feet through dust and mud? Not Archibald, he prefers the bicycle.

The Chevrolet Camaro is an automobile manufactured by Chevrolet, classified as a pony car and some versions also as a muscle car. It went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The car shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967. Four distinct generations of the Camaro were developed before production ended in 2002. The nameplate was revived on a concept car that evolved into the fifth-generation Camaro; production started on March 16, 2009. [source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Camaro]

Just some random mix of modern warfare models I've built a while back, thinking of turning the Raptor back into the version with rear open trailer so it looks more like a Technical..but not for a while.

IED, improvised explosive device , are modern soldiers worst nightmare.

By the end of 2007 they have been responsible for at least 64% of Coalition deaths in Iraq.

Here is a picture of us special forces targeted by an ied during a night mission in the afghan's desert (yeah it's not in the snow). I keep exploring in the live explosions area, made with bengal fire. You stick several together, and you should get a big blow.

A big thanks to Tiny Tactical and their amazing gear to make this one possible. www.tinytactical.com

Be sure I will do some more modern military pictures !

A grim reminder of "life in the trenches'.

"A short segment of the trenches used in Canada to train First World War soldiers has been restored and opened to the public.

About 350,000 Canadian soldiers trained at Camp Borden in Ontario during the First World War. Here they were they were introduced to the rigours of warfare in 18 kilometres of training trenches, knowledge they carried with them are put to good use in battles at Vimy Ridge in France and Passchendaele in Belgium"

Droneuary? Anyone? Made these drones with some custom stickers and came up with a cool combo to go with them.

"The Spiritual Warrior is a person who challenges all fear, lies, false beliefs, and judgments that create suffering and unhappiness in his or her life. It is a war that takes place in the heart and mind of a man or woman. The Spiritual Warrior faces this challenge with the clarity and awareness that this war is fought within himself and that Truth and unconditional love are on the other side of these battles." - Gi ❤

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC DVD) - Prepare for the ultimate invasion! The most anticipated game of the year and the sequel to the best-selling first-person action game of all time.

Call of duty Modern Warfare 2

We all know (or maybe not) the story of the Monitor (Union navy) and the Merrimack (Confederate navy), two Civil War ironclad ships whose epic naval battle (Battle of Hampton Roads) forever changed maritime warfare. The two ships are nicely represented on the Utah desert alongside the entrance road to Canyonlands National Park near Moab. The Merrimack is at the center of my photo and the Monitor at the right.

Just having some fun with an edit- these are re-enactors playing their part at EAA Airventure 2006. The smoke in the background is from the pyro (dynamite and gasoline) used for simulated bombing runs by warbirds. Always fun to see stuff blow up.
