Across the street from the Belford Seafood Market. Shot with my Superheadz Blackbird, Fly on Santa Color 100 and developed in ECN-2.
The Tobacco Warehouse sits abandoned in the heart of Liverpools docklands. This stunning building has seen some renovation over the years and part of it has been turned into residential accomodation but the majority still sits slowly decaying.
It is this part of the building that appeals to me and catches my eye.
Whilst exploring different potential railway shots in the area with my drone i turned my attention to photographing this building for a while and managed this shot.
Tobacco Warehouse was built in 1901 claiming to be the biggest such building of its day and reflecting Liverpool's then prosperity.
Time and fortunes change.
Inspired by Game of Thrones.
Comes with a Texture change HUD.

BPRR 3120 shoves a cut of cylindrical hoppers through the JSP warehouse and out the other side to be offloaded.
JSP is a plastics factory near Butler, PA, and is usually served in the middle of the night by BT-3, the night yard job out of Butler yard. This day's train was handled by BT-1, the morning yard job. According to those who are familiar with B&P operations, catching the B&P serving this warehouse in daylight is very rare, hence the lack of photos. JSP is unique in its own right, having both street running and tracks running right through a warehouse, all while standing on public property. It is one of the coolest locals you could see on the B&P!

The Model shows an American style freight truck in Speed Champions scale (9 wide) in front of the matching warehouse where he can load some cargo and deliver it to the next construction site.
James Withers Sloss was one of the founders of the city of Birmingham, Alabama. In 1880, he founded the Sloss Furnace Company, where he constructed the city's first blast furnace and contributed to the industrial production of iron in the south. In 1899, when James Sloss sold the company to investors, they rebuilt the furnaces with modern equipment and also constructed brand new boilers .
The site operated until 1969 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in the 1980's. The Sloss Furnaces now operate as a museum and are open to the public.

Old warehouses along the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal near Gloucester Docks.
The whole area has now been redeveloped.
I took this photo by sticking my camera through the fence. From the plaque near this warehouse: "Harry George Wade’s Warehouse was originally used to store hay and grain bound for San Francisco. It was later used to store stagecoaches for the Alviso to Monterey stage lines. In addition to being used by Wells Fargo and Company for stagecoach repairs, this warehouse also served as a set for Western Movies. San Jose Historic Landmark No.67"

Gloucester quays (shouldnt that be docks? - or do we go with the corporate re-branding? ) by night. One of my first attempts at night photography, didn't like the colours, though I liked the tones, so I colourised it in photoshop. 50 second exposure or so. Little gaussian blur in the sky to take the grain down.
And nope, I didnt warp the water, thats a natural effect of the wind and the water reflection on a slow exposure . I thought it was cool.
Tken in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.
I don't know what, if anything, is going on inside of this building and I can't quite read the signs to tell what it is/was, but I found it interesting for various reasons. There is a curve of bricks above the "people" doors, which matches what is above the shipping door and a window that is just off the picture. What bothers me is that it is only about half the width of the doors below it which makes me think that is was originally there for a window yet the brick pattern below it doesn't give any indication that a window was once there. The star anchor plate is something commonly seen in old masonry walls used to reinforce them against lateral bowing.
