I FEEL YOU IN THE WIND

I Feel you in the wind sometimes,

I hear you in it's roar.

Reminding me of your presence

Wanting so much more.

I feel your touch in every gush

Sweeping through the meadows

I hear you through the trees

Flying high and free.

In Every season change.

I feel your warm embrace,

Just have to close my eyes

And I can sense you by my side.

I feel you in the wind today

As the storm comes closing in

You found a way to bring us back,

Together once again......

Not wanting to come right home after her treatment folks, she likes to take a ride to anywhere to unwind, and cannot blame her for that, but sometimes getting an image like this guy is worth the effort, you never know what you'll find on the back roads.

Thank you all for everything.

This is Charlie looking through that now famous hole in the gate, the bad news is that hes has been missing now for over a week, he seems to have just vanished, we are all worried for him!

This very fiery looking beauty was up by the canal criss-crossing Kaiser and caught the Sun just at the right angle to allow me an attempt to a rule of thirds. The beauty of which exists for such a short time so luck was in my side to get at such bloom. Weather n Germany is incredibly changeable at the mo and I really wanting to get back out again soon.

I hope everyone is well and so as always thank you! :)

I love taking vertical shots of landscapes generally, but when clouds stream overhead then it seems the only way to capture the feeling you get of being dwarfed by their size. The Wanting Comes in Waves is by The Decemberists, and is the regular pulse of clouds keeping my beach visits so much fun.

I've been wanting to wear this beautiful Blueberry dress again. I first showed it you in the first weeks of the pandemic. I hope you still like it - I certainly do!! It goes perfectly with this gorgeous new hair from Tram. For the first time in ages I think I look like a proper redhead again!

Bald eagle fishing there along the Susquehanna River. Amazing to see these eagles all in action there along the river.

Marley waiting patiently outside by the back window, wanting me to let him in. I always smile when I see how intent he looks to be let in, makes me happy to think he knows where home is and survived another outdoor adventure, safe and sound.

With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

I've been wanting to try and take pretty much this exact shot for some time.

I managed to get out for an evening walk in the local woods on Friday evening and the light was almost perfect. That's the last oppotunity this year for this as the new spring leaves are starting to erupt.

I'm about to dive in

Baby girl, hold your breath

We about to get so wet

Swimming in your body, let me dive in

You know ain't no running 'round this pool

Going under just for you, baby you

Watch me stroke left stroke, right stroke, back stroke

Girl, there ain't no running 'round this pool

Ooh, I'm about to dive in

Baby girl, hold your breath

We about to get so wet

Put me to the test girl when I dive

I've been wanting to try out my new 10 stop ND filter since I got it a couple of weeks ago. It's been raining a lot but on Monday, the forecast was for cloudy in the morning and raining in the afternoon. So I very quickly grabbed all my gear, checked the tides, and headed out to Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver. When I set up my tripod, I realized I had brought the wrong lens! I packed up my 50mm portrait lens instead. I tried the filter and luckily it fit and I figured it would just have to do. Then it started really pouring rain - that wasn't supposed to happen! I tried to protect my lens and filter from the rain and managed to get a couple of shots in. There were birds flying around and ducks landing and taking off in the water, but none of them show up here, and I wasn't going to add a bird (this time :) ). Anyway, I rushed back up to the car, put the tripod on the roof while I was putting everything away in the downpour and took off. You guessed it, I left the tripod on the roof, but it let me know after a few feet of driving and I was able to retrieve it. At least I was able to spend a little bit of time out in nature and I discovered I really do like my new filter :)

Not wanting to take a new pic as I am a lazy fuck, I decided to play around with some old ones. This was originally a picture I took(April 5th) when playing with Lumipro named Darkness.

Wanting to see the sunrise for once, I got up early and was greeted by this sight. Amazing morning light.

♪ Just wanna let you know, baby, I can't let you go..

Not wanting to flood you all with a tidal wave of NSW outback photos, I figured it was time to switch things up. So here’s a little something from the other side of the globe—this is the stunning Athabasca River in Alberta, Canada, hands down one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever set foot. No photo can capture its pristine, majestic beauty (though I gave it my best shot, best 100 shots actually ;)

Canada’s west is the kind of place where you want to take your time, soak it all in, and not just rush around cramming as much as possible into a short trip. One day, I’d love to go back and do just that!

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!

......

As we entered Cades Cove, VERY early ... the dew was still heavy, and the sun was not up ... this is what we saw ...

precious little cub wanting to play ... he was more awake than any one ... Right now just don't dare feed them, because the berries are gone, and the acorns have not fallen ...

this is one time you just keep on a trucking ...

I just had to hang my head out the window, and get this picture ... I know I looked ridiculous .. but no one was behind me, and it was worth the stop and shot ...

Have a wonderful Monday everyone ... Cindy

Yes, there is curvature of the horizon, but not wanting to crop the image too much, I decided to keep that feature in the shot.

I found this area and scene by accident, and after completing a hike that was way more stupidity than bravery. The sea stacks, arches and natural formations located on this part of the California Coast would be a photographer’s dream. However, as I found out later, this particular area of the coast is sadly not accessible during sunset or sunrise. Even though I found this out the hard way, I am happy to have photographed here, after such effort.

Wanting to me anywhere but here.

the iris, wanting out.

I am up and alive, kinda. aches and pains but I finally feel like doing something before I poop out in the afternoon.

yesterday I scanned 5 rolls of film developed by Blue Moon Photo in Portland OR. they were efficient and speedy.

I have no idea which camera these came from or which film I used. I just pulled film from all the cameras I had sitting around.

I recognized some pictures being at least 4 years old

now hopefully I can start fresh.

thanks to you persistent ones who kept following me through this gawdawful bad year.

Cat lovers often are the kindest and gentlest people. I met this older couple in Brooklyn and this is their cat, Star. There was an older woman who lives with Star who told me she was very concerned because Star is quite old and she had her father and her father was showing the same kinds of behaviors before he passed away.

There's a really strong connection between pet lovers when we talk about loss of a pet. It really is something that almost surpasses what humans are capable of enduring...the suffering we feel when a pet we love and cherishes dies. I could feel the woman I spoke to preparing for this mentally but also having that internal conflict of wanting to enjoy the time she had left without the depression already setting in.

I talked to this human for quite a bit and was told about how Star's father cat was so smart that he used the toilet instead of the litter box and how Star has to have special food and treats. We cat lovers pick up on little nuances particular to each personality and we treasure them as if they are individual gifts (because they are!)

Anyway, I couldn't tell if the man in the photo was the woman's son or partner. I had the impression when I was speaking to her below where the man and Star were standing in this shot that she was the kind of human that appreciated a conversation more than a photograph and it was just nice to have that moment. Sometimes, you have to remind yourself that there are other ways of collecting memories and sometimes words (too many words in this case as I'm rambling) can serve a purpose. I've made a note to revisit the image of her in my mind mentally but, within that image, is not merely a woman but a woman who loves cats and all those felines she's adored who've adored her back.

Have a nice Caturday.

A vintage vehicle, perhaps a Model T looks toward a row of houses at the ghost town of Bodie, California. Some of these houses were occupied until the town was acquired by the state of California. The one on the far left is still occupied by park personnel.
