On its first night in service after being rebuilt in Altoona and painted in Chattanooga, Southern SD40 #3170 passes the building where the decision was likely made to purchase this unit, the former Southern Railway headquarters on Spring Street in Atlanta. Directly behind 3170 is the old tower that controlled movements into and out of Terminal Station. The station was located at the far left, in the area now occupied by the Richard B. Russell Federal Building. This portion of Atlanta has seen a recent rebirth, with aged factory buildings and warehouses being converted into modern condominiums. Though vacant, Norfolk Southern still owns the Spring Street office building, and many TV shows and movies have used the property for film sets, the most popular being AMC's The Walking Dead.

Oh boy... Do I have a feeling we're getting close.

It's gonna be pee pee pants city here real soon.

Which one of you pricks is the leader?

SO. Cliffhanger aside I loved Negan and I wanted to recreate that scene. So here it is! I threw together some random savior looking people. I didn't have time to make Steven Ogg's character yet but I may make an update picture with brick built stuff in the background too.

This is also kind of a preview for my updated Negan minifig, which I'll post in a few days!

Alright so there you have it! If you have any suggestions for TWD characters or other series to do (you might see some Star Wars and Marvel stuff soon). Alright everyone, see you next time!

Guess What? Chicken Butt.... Puttin all the good jokes to the side... The dead are still comin.

This past summer I got into The Walking Dead, and played through the game this past week. I figured I'd see what a walker looked like in Lego form. I learned that I have a lot to learn about sculpting the human head. I used "well, it's dead and rotting" as an excuse way too much for weaker areas.

Enter the badlands, where the walking dead roam. Tribulation, like you’ve never known. Nuclear fallout, ruin is your home! Your heart faints; you’ve reaped what you’ve sown.

Smoke, ashes! Fire, fallout! Heat, radiation! Pain, judgment!

Hey guys, So since The Governor was my favourite character in TWD I decided to make my third variant of him in his "Too Far Gone" outfit which I actually made back in November, but I think he turned out pretty nice. He's probably my favourite figure from the series that I have made to far.

When I was painting his leather jacket I tried to give it a real tattered look like it was in the show, the hairpiece I used was a modded superman piece, I think it really resembles his hair during the episode especially since it long sideburns. As for the head I really tried to capture the look of David Morrissey. The katana is based off what it would look like after he killed Hershel by adding blood effect to the sword, I also painted the handle black and white, I also painted his signature M9 silver.

I would love to hear what you guys think of him !

Together with a few other Dutch builders, I'll be displaying models at Dutch Comic Con in Utrecht in a few weeks time. For the occasion, I decided to incorporate some of my vehicles from movies and TV show into dioramas. I built Dale's RV last year and decided to also build Daryl's chopper.

201 class Irish Rail 233 seen shunting over the Rotal Canal north of Connolly Station in the "common " livery, but more affectionally known as the racoon livery given the colours.

231 and 233 are painted in this livery for temporary days asigned to the Enterprise days. Its always a treat to get a shot of them.
