The Zion National Park in Utah is an amazing place. Turn around a corner, yet another breathtaking view of the red rocks. I held the camera low on this footpath. It just started to sprinkle a bit.
I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, then merged them using the paintery version for the wood and shrubs.

Superstition
This superstition really does originate 5,000 years ago in ancient Egypt. A ladder leaning against a wall forms a triangle, and Egyptians regarded this shape as sacred (as exhibited, for example, by their pyramids). To them, triangles represented the trinity of the gods, and to pass through a triangle was to desecrate them.

Memories of the last snowstorm of winter. There is my new furry friend with her dad. She let me take the photo of her that day. This puppy is in the process of becoming a therapy dog for someone who needs her companionship and love. I think we aren't going to have any more snow this year, that was the last snowfall here...hopefully. Now waiting for spring.
There's lots of horses in the stables at New Victory and they have to be walked every day for exercise.

Taken on another of the few nice sunny mornings we've had this early spring. We can't resist going up this boardwalk, for some reason it holds an 'allure'. It was badly burnt half way up by vandals two or three years ago, but mended by people doing 'Community Service' for some petty crime in the past. There are a few holes in the planks so 'mind the gap' !!

The weather didn’t know what to do with itself. Cold and windy and sometimes wet. And occasionally a brief burst of winter sunshine. A day to rug up and walk on a beach.
