"Mud walking (in Dutch: wadlopen) is an exciting and adventurous way of acquainting oneself with a unique nature reserve, the Wadden Sea, also the largest continuous national park in Europe. During low-tide, shallows fall dry making it possible to cross the bottom of the sea.
These shallows consist of sandbanks, criss-crossed with trenches and gullies. During a typical mud walk, hikers wrestle through miles of mire and thigh-deep brown mud, wade through channels of waist high water before arriving on one of the islands in the Wadden Sea."

Make sure you have a guided tour and only when the weather conditions are right!
For now it was nice to make a very short walk ;-)) The Wadden Sea is such a great place to visit if you love nature and silence.

Memories of the last snowstorm of winter. There is my new furry friend with her dad. She let me take the photo of her that day. This puppy is in the process of becoming a therapy dog for someone who needs her companionship and love. I think we aren't going to have any more snow this year, that was the last snowfall here...hopefully. Now waiting for spring.

About a week ago we took a walk in the woods. As the path turned we were confronted by a magical scene, it seemed like Narnia to me. Probably more pictures to come.
The strange thing was, here was no Winter and over there was Winter. Two seasons within a few metres.
If the weather is good we always find a place to go for a hike. Mostly in the nature.

When the weather permits we enjoy the outdoors very often. One of our co-loved pass times is “Walking The Neighborhood.” There are only four houses on this sprawled out neighborhood. It’s really quiet and fun to walk our female German Shepherd dog. I’ll share photos of her sometime soon. Thanks for viewing my work.
