This reminds me of what's called a walk cycle in animation, where you draw the stages of a figure walking frame-by-frame.

Finished up both the boy and girl tonight (*really it's this morning... yawn) and thought I'd post it. I am really pleased with how they turned out. Now I only have 1, maybe 2 more to do.

Stop: Distilled vinegar 1+10 ~1 min
Fix: Fomafix 4 min ~19 C (9th reuse)
This took over 4 hours today... it's not been edited at all, this is straight how it came out of my camera. Snow and things will be added over the top and the colour will be sorted.
It reminds me of that Smirnoff advert about the Jabberwocky or something, from yeears ago...
Sachiko and I animated her at the same time.
