Sometimes I take these side by side, film and digital. A repeat, shot handheld of the tree in the morning mist. This was shot on Kodak Portra 400 with the Canon EOS 1V, the last true professional 35mm film camera ever made. The Canon 1V utilizes the EF mount, so you get that modern, sweet, sweet L glass... Lens is the 70-200 L 2.8 IS III
We had a great flickr meet hike yesterday in Griffith Park and I took my wife and 3 kids and we had a blast. Thanks Soupy for the idea for this shot... got lucky on this one
I do not have any objection with any development. But a proper town planning is a must!! Developers and municipal should work hand in hand. More housing using the same 2 lane roads? They must be kidding.. When doing road patching, do it at some standard. Not just to fulfill the requirement. After 50 years of independence, the mentality has not changed much. They are only thinking about profit!! Ahhh....

I joined the rainforest charity event today at fort canning park organized by 17 voices. Pinoygraphers@sg is invited to be the official photographers. Of course, our job is to take photos of these underpriviledged kids and make their day happy.
It was a verrrrryyy exhausting day. We had to hike the trail despite the rain and take pictures all throughout the day. but seeing all the photos printed made it all worthy. The smile on the kids' faces are just priceless.
Photography wise, I just want to sing I love you more today than yesterday to my 50mm 1.4. It's really an amazing lens.
