Ipomoea aquatica is most commonly grown in east, south, and southeast Asia. It flourishes naturally in waterways, and requires little if any care. It is used extensively in Indonesian, Burmese, Thai, Lao, Cambodian, Malay, Vietnamese, Filipino, and Chinese cuisine, especially in rural or kampung (village) areas.

Family Sphecidae are a cosmopolitan family of wasps that includes sand wasps, mud daubers and other thread-waisted wasps.
Possibly a mud dauber Sceliphron formosum. These wasps paralyse prey and place them within the cell for the larva to eat as it develops.

06-26-15_MG_1055 Robert Salinas and I hit an area near his home hoping for something new and we lucked out and found a male of this species, which is very uncommon species and the females seem to be seen but males are very rarely seen. These are all the same male and Robert and I lucked out and managed many shots and angles on this one dragonfly
British Retro makes some lovely clothing, but their sizing leaves much to be desired. I’m usually a solid 14, but I couldn’t resist this sombre number even though it’s supposed to be a 16. In spite of what it says on the label, it’s more like a 13 - i.e somewhat smaller than a 14. Oh well, at least it’s short enough to show a bit of petti😀
