Perhaps not. Bandit decided to check it out and I thought it would make a nice platform for a puppy family photo. Unfortunately, Bailey had better things to do. I did manage to get a few quick snapshots of Trinity and Bandit before they were off exploring again.

The wagon was from New Mexico but the sky is from Georgia. Can you imagine traveling across the country in this?
As afternoon showers roll across the front range of Colorado, BNSF's Longmont Turn (BNSF R PWR4211 31F) splits Mason St in downtown Fort Collins, CO as they head south behind a pair of SD70MACs. On point is BNSF 9658, an Executive/Grinstein EMD SD70MAC still wearing BNSF's "wagon wheel" nose logo.
As the sun sets on a pleasant January evening, the Chicago-bound Southwest Chief races across the desert at Wagon Mound, New Mexico.
Perhaps these wagons were sidelined after trucks came on the scene. During the height of it's gold and silver production in 1880, the population of Bodie was estimated at 10,000. In the early days, everything to support the growth of the town was brought in via wagons like this.

Na de platen rond Zeitz werd er verder naar het zuiden afgezakt om de volgende ochtend rond Nürnberg te beginnen. Deze donderdag zou strakblauw verlopen en het hoofddoel werd opnieuw de 232 inzet tussen Nürnberg en Marktredwitz. De ochtend werd begonnen bij Hersbruck, vlak voor de splitsing van de lijn richting Pegnitz en de lijn richting (o.a.) Weiden. Zoals eerder beschreven worden beide lijnen gebruikt om in Marktredwitz en Hof/Cheb te komen. Het doel was de flink vertraagde UC naar Cheb welke hier achter de 233 176 in een heerlijk landschap passeert. Helaas werden er enkele lege rongenwagens aan de loc meegenomen, welke er achteraf even tussenuit werden gehaald :p Opmerkelijk waren overigens vooral de rode containers met gevaarcode 7 achteraan in de trein.
On thursday, the target was again to see some 232 locos between Nürnberg and Marktredwitz. The 233 176 passes near Hersbruck here with the delayed mixed train to Cheb. A few empty wagons were removed digitally.

Rail Cruise America's excursion train from the Saint Louis Car Company was pounding the EJ&E main line in Rondout.
Running a dinner train circle trip to Sturtevant, Wisconsin from Chicago and back on CP's C&M Subdivision, Rebuilt EMD F9PHA 1010 went on to Norfolk Southern as their 270.
After NS no longer wanted to use a classic locomotive on their business train, it was sold to the Reading and Northern.
An antique wooden child's wagon believed to have been manufactured by the A. S. Smith Co. in the 1880s. The bed measures 5.75 x 15.0 inches (20 x 38 cm). The wheels have six wooden spokes and metal rims. The diameter of the front wheels is 5.5 inches (14 cm), while that of the back wheels is 7.5 inches (19 cm).
7137 and 7136 lead an empty Pacific National inland to load.
