I've taken the camera down to the Brighton doggie beach and surrounds so many times, but each time I see something new, or the light has changed with the different hour of day, and with it the atmosphere. I'm annoyed I forgot the camera this morning because the sky and sea were exactly the same colour and so still...it looked like the boats were floating in mid-air. Maybe next time...

As always, many thanks for taking the time to view, fave and comment. That's very much appreciated

Black-tailed Godwit and a Redshank feeding at Lindisfarne.

I was out hunting for my next opportunity when this victim crossed my sight. Fishing under a highway underpass, it must have been cold in those waders.

The Common Sandpiper is a smallish wader with contrasting brown upperparts and white underparts. It bobs up and down, known as 'teetering',

Another look at our recent visiting young White Faced Heron, wading at our little lake where it was feasting on the many damselflies that were in huge numbers that day.

A bit of fun with this Wood Stork image.

The American Avocet is a very graceful looking bird but it also moves so smoothly and calmly through the water. I was laying on my belly in the grass watching this bird on the other side of the pond when suddenly he started walking in my direction. What a treat to have him come so close. At this moment captured on camera, he saw me . Instead of getting flustered, he just sauntered casually away in the opposite direction. This was on a farm in Saskatchewan. Happy Wing Wednesday.

As long as you've got the right clothes on there's not many better ways to spend an hour or so than lying on the sand watching waders scurry past feeding on the shoreline.

The weather has pretty much kept me indoors and is really giving me a case of cabin fever. This is a shot from last Sept.

This location is where the river Darenth and river Thames meet in Kent England , there are always egrets and waders such as this grey heron in and around the foreshore, even without the added interest of the heron it would still be a lovely image on its own!

Thank you to all who fave or comment on my photos it is much appreciated.

Great little waders these and fast little buggers flying. This one has settled at the at the waters edge I think the clump of grass made him feel a little more at ease (thankfully) .Taken with old Badger in tow !!
