Interesting Light Series
This is a series of images from an exploration of the interaction of sun light and the city. All images in the series are full frame, SOOC with only minor adjustments to exposure.
Completed in 2009, this is (in my humble opinion) a welcome addition to the Wacker Drive "wall" of tall buildings. I like the shiny glass, and I like the fact that it is LEED certified. 45 floors; designed by a Chicago firm, Goettsch Partners.
I should know the name of this building, but I don't. I just know that it's on Wacker, and that today it houses one of Chicago's more prominent architecture firms, though I don't remember which one. Not Skidmore & Owings.
actually this strikes me every afternoon-walk-home as kindof wack itself. I like this because it is one of the things that made me want to start carrying my camera everywhere.
