This unusual photograph presented itself as I walked along the Worcester & Birmingham canal at Stoke Prior. Recent heavy rain caused the overflow stream alongside the canal to run fast and furious. At this point the water fell sharply over this small weir.

Looking down, my exposure "froze" the cascading water to produce the curtain effect of the waterfall.
