Lloyds Of London is a huge space, much bigger than you'd think from the outside. In the middle is a void that runs all the way to the top. You can only go part of the way on escalators, the rest you have to do by lift.
The people on the right are visitors as part of the OpenHouse London weekend that was on the weekend of September 21st.

The “void deck” is a uniquely Singaporean term, referring to the ground floor of Housing Development Board (HDB) blocks that has been left open as sheltered space, where residents can gather to meet friends or where our children can run around, whether rain or shine.
Today, void decks continue to serve as popular hangout areas for senior citizens, as common spaces for Singaporeans and new citizens to “hang out”, and as venues for community activities organised by Residents’ Committees.

Had to pause the game as soon as the level loaded, wrestle the camera over to the other side of the room, wait for old void-pants to turn and start his lecture, pause again, wrestle the camera back over to the other side to line up the shot.
Heading into the void in the backcountry in a white-out condition. This image reminds me of the days when we don't get desired weather, but still enjoy the moment of just being outdoors.
One of my favorite novels I read this past summer, Void Moon by Michael Connelly.

The story revolves around a woman who pulls off a heist on a high roller at a Las Vegas casino. Little does she know, she stole money from the wrong people, and they will stop at nothing to hunt her down.
This is one of Connelly's older works, but a great read, nonetheless. Check it out of you like his writing!
