The last one of two Boston Markets in South Tampa closed a week or two ago. The closure happened very unexpectedly. I passed it one day on the bus around 11 AM and it was packed; I went by at the same time two days later and it looked like this.
A sign in the door offers no explanation, just listing the two closest Tampa restaurants and a discount offer if you go to the one in St. Pete. "Mention this sign and receive a dollar off your meal" or something.

So I made the leap and got my first DSLR last thursday. I've been simultaneously in love and frustrated since then, but mostly in love. It has been a humbling experience to realize how little I really know about photography, I am definitely still a newbie. After playing around with it all weekend, and taking a couple hundred photos with varied settings, I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. Maybe I should read the instruction manual.....ahh maybe later.
I've got some more photos waiting in the wings, but haven't had a lot of time for processing lately, because of school and work. I'm graduating from college in two weeks!
By the way I went with the Canon EOS Rebel t1i.
