Looking up from the basement.
The gorgeous spiral stairs in Heal's (Heal and Son) Department Store in Tottenham Court Road London. I have been meaning to photograph this after seeing ample enough photos of it. When I don't plan it, it just happens.... Here is my version to add to so many. :-)

A quick run to Glasgow from the Lake District to pick up my new baby. Damn she's gorgeous, sharp and that colours! Well, I might as well do some sightseeing while there. This is The Lighthouse, a modern spiral stairway that was built inside a much older structure.

Seems like a normal occura=rence on the underground late at night. I used three stations that night and sure enough I found a few on every station. I was with the love of my life too..... My camera! LoL

The London Underground is an amazing time machine. Every station has an aura of the time it was built. The moment you step off the train onto the platform you are instantly transported in time.
I must have been living in London for far too long! Time for a move? Where to? ....but I still love London!
