Annabelle Ham — a social media personality with a significant fanbase on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram — passed away on July 15, her family members have now confirmed.
She was 22 years old.
The cause of death has been described by these same loved ones as an “epileptic event.”

“This is Annabelle’s family. We’re writing this with heavy, heavy hearts. Annabelle experienced an epileptic event and has gone on to the gates of heaven,” read a post on Annabelle’s Instagram profile on Monday evening.
“She struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness for it, which we will do in honor of her.”
A content creator, who gained her notable following after launching her lifestyle YouTube channel in 2014, Ham vlogged about life as a college student while also sharing makeup tips.
According to The Daily Mail, she was at a bachelorette party in Fairhope, Alabama when she was reported missing before being found dead on Saturday.

Malibu Boats Team and Event Director Lani Farmer and Malibu Boats Marketing Manager, Amy Mauzy are leaving their factory posts in California to travel to the Wake Jam in Portland and then to the Malibu Pro Team Challenge Event in Seattle this weekend (July 31 - August 2). 24 hours till vloggercon!
Hopping on the plane tomorrow morning.
I wanted to share my thoughts on meeting over 400 vloggers and vlog fans for the first time.
In a word.
Vlogebrity!
Vlogebrity is the term.
We have a little saying amongst vloggers, "We are the media".
And so by proxy we are also our own celebrities.
What does vlogerbrity mean?
It's the long tail of celebrity.
It is more niche than blogebrity, and yet far more powerful a celebrity.
It's about strong bonds.
Imagine if you will.
Tomorrow and Saturday I will meet for the first time 150 or 250+ people I've never met in person, but whom I've gotten to know intimately through video blogging over the last 2 years.
They are from all over the world, Norway to Australia, and pretty much every continent.
I know their names like I know the names of old friends.
I know their faces, their personalities, their mannerisms, their humor, their interests and passions.
When we meet we will recognize each other. We may shake hands, but like old friends our introductions will be very brief and we'll dive into specific topics and detailed subjects based on our shared interests.
There won't be silly icebreaking questions. No, "So what do you do?" or "Where are you from"... No idle "get to know you" chat. Just diving into the common subjects we share.
Vlogebrities have known backgrounds.
Vlogebrities have shared history.
The shock of meeting all my vlogebrity friends at once face to face. This is the thing I'm most looking forward to at vloggercon at this moment.
This is on the surface what I want to capture and understand. Because in studying vloebrity it will tell us something about the future.
A future where we're all the media, where we're all celebrities to someone, mentor's, peers, and friends of people the world over.
Regardless of geography.
Another step in the progression of the global village.
I relish this idea.
Vloggercon is going to be a completely unique, great and erie sort of culture shock that is probably completely unique to video blogging. I'm expecting a powerful sort of deja vu.
With Introductions a side (almost unnecessary) vloggercon will be about getting right down to business.
It may sound like a preposterous thing to say, but I ask you to consider, that never before has such a large group of people whom know each other so well met for the very first time.
Actors may meet and they know each others faces and characters, but they don't know each other for who they really are.
Intellectuals, writers, scientists and infinite professional groups may know each other by reputation, by exchanges of writing, even by photos, but again they don't know each other as intimately as vloggers. They don't know each others voices, facial expressions.
Vlogebrity is powerful voodoo.
Unlike hollywood celebrity, which gives a powerful false sense of knowing people, vlogebrity gives a true and powerful sense of knowing. But how true is this celebrity? How much do we really know each other? We shall see.
Needless to say vlogebrity is a very unique type of celebrity. An intensely personal sort of celebrity.
Vlogebrity creates powerful bonds and friendships.
...and I expect since we all know each other so well while never having met, that the conversation will be so furious at vloggercon I seriously hope I don't loose my voice. ;)
So soak up and take note of the power of vlogebrity. Breath it in, think about it. What is the truth of it, what is false. As McLuhan famously said the medium is the message. If we are the media, then what does it say about the future, what does vlogebrity say about the future of a truly global culture of closely bonded niche communities.
To me this says one thing. This new world that is evolving that is bonded by a democratic, open, participatory media system, a property fundamental to the internet. It is fundamentally going to make the world a much more human/humane place then a world shaped by cars, and TV, radio and newspaper. The world is becoming more human.
We are truly living in the future in many respects.
And yet we're living very far in the future.
7000 video blogs is nothing.
The massive popularity of a Youtube, (which I've never seen anything like in all my .com years) is impressive, but really it is nothing in the big picture
This is not about a 2.0 .boom. We've barely entered an era that's going to play out over the course of generations, perhaps this whole century.
What happens in the first 7000 video blogs is fun and very interesting, (not to discount the very much related and very important blogging, podcasting and photocasting)... but in order to understand the true power of open acess media / new media, it's impact on the world, we have to listen carefully and study carefully, because the majority of it's power, of the possibilities for change lie below the surface. They have yet to be discovered.
The question we must ask, is what happens when the other 99.99% of the world has access to not just rich media, not just blogs, videos, photo, and VOIP communications... but the tools and applications, the project management tools, the wiki-collaborative writing tools, the processing power, the connectivity?
The reason I like vlogging, is not because I'm a videographer, it's because I'm a student of media. It's not because vlogging IS the future. Who knows where we'll be in 5 years. Who knows if vlogging as we know it will even exist. The reason why I am fascinated by this thing is because it is an opportunity to look into a window of a *possible future*, to understand something about how media shapes our culture and our identities now and how it will like the inventions of the printing press, the radio and the television before it.
If mass media nationalized and mobilized the world, what will internet mediated media do?
And therefore the reason why I'm going to vloggercon is two-fold. Both to understand, study and interpret this fundamental change in the way the world is connected and how it will change the world.
And secondly and just as important to collaborate and discuss with others to distributing this future. TO make it available to as many people as possible.
This initial success, this web 2.0 boom is a a misnomer, a distraction to what is truly significant to what is going on here. Myspace and Youtube the current media darlings of this space are but short sited mischaracterizations of this era, false gods at best. Who is going to bring this evolution to the other 99.99% of the planet? The majority of the planet that doesn't speak english, or one of the five more popular languages. Proprietary, walled garden systems fundamentally lack this capacity. I suspect it will evolve as has open access media out of open source software as it is the only model flexible enough to bring these technologies to the rest of the world.
And don't even talk to me about "big media"... they lack the vision to see beyond delivering plastic disks and DRM laden content to .0001% of the world. That's some sever myopia.

After eight days its time to go home.
But because of the cancellation of the BA direct flights, I now have to use KLM, but it comes with a bonus of being able to choose a later flight.
My flight wasn't until ten past two, meaning I had to be at the airport at about midday, and a 90 minute drive to get there meant leaving at half ten.
All of which added up to a lay in, lazy packing and breakfast.
On the second bed in the room was my case, my clothes and the bag of swag I was presented with on Monday. I had to get it all in the case.
It took 15 minutes, and sitting on the lid, but I got the catches closed and so could get dressed and go down for breakfast.
Quiet at eight, with most guests having gone to work, so I seat well and slowly, have a second coffee before going upstairs to lollygag and finish packing my small bag for a half nine wander down to reception to pay the bill.
The bill was paid and the receipt e mailed, so done in 30 seconds. I go to the basement, load the car and am ready for the road.
I wake the horses and we lurch out.
Through the docks and condos, then onto the main road out and onto the motorway spur.
The reason for leaving early was the roadworks on the motorway, I had seen stationary traffic a week back, so took no chances.
In the end there were no delays, so I had to park up and while away half an hour listening to a podcast before driving the last 35km to the airport.
I reluctantly hand over the keys and walk back to the terminal, but could not check in for 20 minutes, so people watch.
Third in the queue to drop my bags off, through security in 5 minutes, and up into the departure hall with the duty free and lego shops to look round.
Instead I went to the bar for a stiffner, and watched a couple of planes taking off as I supped.
Half one and the flight was called, so we go to the gate where there is a crowd of folks trying to be first on. I was very last, and so inched along the airbridge at the back as the plane filled up.
The flight was full, as the previous one had been cancelled, so all squeezed in for the 55 minute flight to naughty Amsterdam.
And again, they managed to hand our drinks and snack and collect the trash in that time.
And as ever, the taxiing took almost as long as the flight, to a pan near the terminal, but one that required a ten minute bus trip to the entrance, and waiting for a second bus for those of us at the back of the plane.
For a change my gate for the flight to London was just ten minutes away, so I had an hour to try and find Jools a new camera.
Long story.
Anyway, I went to two "Electronic" shops, only to find neither really bother with cameras much any more, or at least what we would consider cameras, but did a line in Vlogging cameras to influencers.
Instead I went to the Heikkinen bar for a large beer and some crisps, which was a two minute dash to the gate.
I chatted to an old Irish guy who didn't talk, but whispered, making conversation difficult, but turned out he's been punched at some festival in Belfast, had his nose broken and had a dozen stitches.
I went to the gate to find the flight not full, but due to balancing the aircraft, we had to be squashed up in the middle of the plane.
Not sure about that. Was never an issue on Sun Air on those flights to Billund where if not full we could sit anywhere, and the plane was tiddly.
All on, and it was a 35 minute leap to London, and yet the crew dished out drinks and snacks, and collected the trash before we began final approach.
The sun was setting, and the light golden as we dropped down over Essex and the river, and with one final skim over the river, we landed, and thus ended my last ever business trip.
We had to wait to get off, then wait again for our bags, but all good as by the time I has squeezed onto a DLR train and got to Stratford, I only had a 20 minute wait for a direct train to Dover.
On the train I got a seat, suddenly weary after the 8 days away. People looked at phones, no one talked, and outside, Kent slipped by unseen shrouded in darkness.
Jools was waiting for me, to take me home, I loaded the case in the back and poured myself in the front seat.
Back home, after my first cuppa for nine days, I defrosted some ragu and cooked pasta, warmed up some bread Jools had go, and twenty minutes later, with a glass of three of XV, we ate together.

I love photography, and I have a great passion doing it, I saw brighter future the second I bought this, one year ago I decided to start vlogging, I did the first vlog by traveling with my gf but then my phone got stolen, I was still a student back then, so I couldn't afford either to buy a new phone or to get a dslr camera. I got graduated started working without my diploma because it takes time to get it here in Tunisia, I got cheated on and didn't get paid. I stayed at home 2 months without work. Then I started working as web designer & front end developer. it's been 3 months now. I saved money and got my first dslr. I'm so excited to start sharing a lot of pictures with all of you.
this is my first image, far from work like 3km, there is some random poor people living there.

Good morning guys!!! It's Thursday and were two days away from the weekend! For today's #vlog, I thought I'd share a #throwbackthursday. This is one of my very first #VLOGs with Colleen Rodolfo that we did during the summer.
Vlogging is fun, I'm not gonna lies being able to create something everyday and clicking that upload button... There's just so thing so rewarding about it. I love the idea of sharing something special with people and these moments that I have with other... I definitely want to remember them and cherish it all.

What do you get when you combine a mid ending and a front engine trophy truck and run AWD. Well you get this monster. Imagine twin LS3 motors and transmissions. We had a great time at the Pacifico 300 racing in the very competitive class 29 in the ProBaja series. . We drew first place and started off the line with some very fast guys behind. Driving a clean conservative race we were lucky to finish in 7th place out of 19 cars..

This was the first Trophy Simon & Simon Rough Rider's Trophy Truck built in 1991. The first Full Tube chassis and A arm truck.
It has been down in Baja for a few years. Last owner was @rodyamaya who sold it to Pedro as a rolling chassis. In the last 14 months they have fully restored it and got it ready to race the #norra1000.

For all you Polaris RZR horsepower hungry guys, check out the TPR industries billet valve cover cam oilers working in real time. This enables us to run TPR race prep cylinder heads with fast action high lift RunBC camshafts and valve train without cam follower failures.
Polaris engines are known for struggling with high lift cam profiles due to lack of oil on the cam followers.
We can now lubricate cam lobes and followers with a regulated stream of oil as seen in this video.
The volume of oil required for cam oilers to operate is less than 1/3 of the requirement of your turbo charger thus not starving the engine for oil volume.
Valve cover kit includes all necessary oil lines and fittings for an easy install.
