Fizz:
Fizz. Because it's pretty.
Now, I supposed I ought to also say something to imply it is useful.
And it is, although I don't know that it replaces going directly to
the site. Which it supports, so everything is good, right?
Here's how it works for the end-user. Allow a connection to either
Facebook or Twitter. It generates the visualization. Dark background
bubbles show a person talking, while colored smaller bubbles inside
show the posts they've made recently. Mouseover the large bubble to
see who's talking, mouseover the small bubbles to see what they said.
When the display pops up showing what was said, you can read most of
it, and can click to go to the post or link on the original site. You
can also rt+click on links within posts to open in a separate tab or
window. The groupings give you an idea of where most of the activity
is, and allow you to skim quickly, and dive deep if wished. Rather
handy. I could actually see using this as a way to skim lots of
content quickly.
And it's pretty. But I said that already. :)
