This is my first data visualization.

Each square presents the image of the anchor juxtaposed next to a graphic image. Images are arranged in chronological order, with one image per year, dating from 1970 to 2009. Each row represents a decade.

By placing the statue along the right side of the frame, the viewer's attention is drawn to it. Also, by zooming in on the face the viewer is compelled to wonder what he is gazing at.

Put data where people can see it.
