This was shot on am afternoon in Singapore when the skies threatend to pour, and it did, but briefly.
The iconic Marina Bay Sands tower on the far left acts as a strong vertical anchor, framing the cityscape. The open Horizon of the vast, dramatic cloudscape occupies the top half of the frame, balancing the dense urban details below.
Enclosed in the foreground are the low-angle rooftops and Supertree structures protruding out at the bottom seal the frame, hopefully keeping the viewer's eye contained within the central landscape
Singapore with all its urban structures and the recent (over the last 75 years) developments emphasise the city's success and its vertical stance.
The prominent highway bridge sweeps diagonally across the lower-middle section, drawing the eye directly from the central skyscrapers toward the Singapore Flyer.
The curved shoreline mirrors the bridge, guiding visual flow across the water body and all the structures climbing up in the central layer of the frame emphasis the the linear structure of the skyscrapers and the massive left tower pull the viewer's eyes upward, emphasizing the city's vertical scale for that is what cities like Singapore, Kuala Lumpur etc seem to be like.

I listened to the Avengers theme and some Call of Duty music to get into the groove and created this visual. Little over 5 hours long to get the final piece 🔥 Great job Tyra for being able to shoot a wide variety of art with that one dress 😆

This photograph captures a street show at Universal Studios Singapore featuring Gloria the Hippo from Madagascar.
The paradox is that the uneasy reality of global cultural exchange. In the commercial race for virality and profit, the soul of Asian heritage is often sanitized, packaged into "aesthetic" trends, and stripped of its historical weight.
It serves as a visual narrative about commerce, mass culture, and American business in Asia. Set in a "displaced geography," a physical slice of Hollywood cinema is dropped into South East Asia.
On the left, a grand neoclassical facade mimics New York Public Library architecture, contrasted on the right by bright signage for "Bird's Emporium" and "Emporium Gifts." Captured from behind, the classic theme park stagecraft provides an immersive, insider perspective.
The manicured street, double yellow lines, and a stylized 30 MPH sign create a safe, hyper-real fantasy world.
On the right, East Asian tourists react with genuine joy, holding up smartphones to transform a Western pop culture product into digital memories.
A young girl walking with her family underscores the universal, multigenerational appeal of these global movie properties across Asian family structures.
- Finally finished this visual after a year of holding it off 😅 One of the very first shots I took off on my EOS R. Recently watched endgame so that was the inspiration for making the photo!

The mission of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard is to represent Airmen to the American public and the world. Being part of the 113th Wing Honor Guard has given me amazing experiences especially being in the DC area. Retirement of the Chief of the ANG next month 🔥
