Fabricado en los años 50-60 en Portugal, fue usado por las tropas portuguesas para defender las colonias Africanas. En esos momentos, era necesario un transporte polivalente, robusto y de facil mantenimiento, que no podían ofrecer las grandes marcas como GMC, por eso, la fábrica francesa Berliet, cedió a Portugal la construcción de 3000 unidades de este vehículo. Con una capacidad de carga de 5T y motor y depósito estancos, era capaz de sumergirse 1.5 metros.

This was shot on am afternoon in Singapore when the skies threatend to pour, and it did, but briefly.
The iconic Marina Bay Sands tower on the far left acts as a strong vertical anchor, framing the cityscape. The open Horizon of the vast, dramatic cloudscape occupies the top half of the frame, balancing the dense urban details below.
Enclosed in the foreground are the low-angle rooftops and Supertree structures protruding out at the bottom seal the frame, hopefully keeping the viewer's eye contained within the central landscape
Singapore with all its urban structures and the recent ( ovver the last 75 years) developments emphasi0se the city's success and its vertical stance.
The prominent highway bridge sweeps diagonally across the lower-middle section, drawing the eye directly from the central skyscrapers toward the Singapore Flyer.
The curved shoreline mirrors the bridge, guiding visual flow across the water body and all the structures climbing up in the central layer of the frame emphasis the the linear structure of the skyscrapers and the massive left tower pull the viewer's eyes upward, emphasizing the city's vertical scale for that is what cities like Singapore, Kualalumpur etc seem to be like

It serves as a visual narrative about commerce, mass culture, and American business in Asia. Set in a "displaced geography," a physical slice of Hollywood cinema is dropped into Southeast Asia.
On the left, a grand neoclassical facade mimics New York Public Library architecture, contrasted on the right by bright signage for "Bird's Emporium" and "Emporium Gifts."Captured from behind, the classic theme park stagecraft provides an immersive, insider perspective.
