Andre Dombrowski, Penn Professor of Art History, spoke to Penn Wind Ensemble about the paintings that were the inspiration for the music they will be performing in their upcoming concert.

Shiv has been working as a freelance illustrator for the last 10 years... give or take. Her illustrations are created from photography and photoshop. This can give some of her work quite a realistic feel within her quite abstract subject matter.

 

Her clients have included Nike, BMW, Sony Music and Camel. Her editorial work has also appeared in many publications in the UK as well as Spain, Germany and America.

Took this image of a friend and added processed treatments that looks like an etching.

This is Mike, one of my close friend's that live's in our neighborhood, every now and then we go to his ranch and b.b.q. drink cold beer's, shoot the breeze and have fun. All in all he is great friend to have on your side and consider him and his wife Betsy as Family.
