My inspiration for this shoot was lifestyle Instagram photos. The natural light gives the impression of a sunny morning (when in fact it was afternoon) . To improve it I would try different compositions, but the space was too small for a table eg. The shoot contains fruits, jewellery, but these two remain my favourite.

For storytellers, artists in general, lovers of the visual arts and, David Lynch fans, specifically...this is a Huge. Loss. It’s been a week and it’s still trying to sink in that he’s gone. I can’t imagine what his family, friends and colleagues are going through. From a young artist who wanted to make ‘Paintings that move’, who created a body of work that was both ‘wonderful and strange’ and, invited us to experience it with him and take from it what we will. To have our own experience with it...he broke so much ground...many a series since Twin Peaks have David’s fingerprints on them. He taught us that it’s wonderful to dream, to create and, to appreciate that there’s balance in life. He gave us films that were raw and made us feel. He gave us those majestic Douglas Firs, coffee and, pie, delivered in such a magical way. A gift that was ahead of its time. He lived life on his terms, doing what he loved. David Keith Lynch from Missoula, Montana, may you rest in peace. You will be very, Very missed. But you have a body of work that will live on. As he would say, keep your eye on the donut, not the hole
