I am using slide film to explore the phrase 'visual poetry'. The is part of my Final Major Project for Art Foundation. I am hoping to use these images for a slide installation as my final outcome.
Ferragosto is a traditional bank holiday here, in italy.

"To die a martyr is to inject blood into the veins of society" is a line from Persepolis. I'm not a terrorist, it just got stuck in my head. It's Iranian propoganda from their war with Iraq, and tulips are a Persian symbol for martyrs.
Work was slow today and I did some walking around. I thought this was a great example of Visual Movement because the train tracks lead your eyes down the picture into the next grain elevator and beyond. I really like the shade and the color of the railroad and the gold wheat on the left side of the picture.
