Fieldfare [Turdus pilaris]
These birds arrived within the last week or so, and have been feasting on the autumn berries near and around my house. They will be around for a few months, overwintering, before they return to their spring/summer haunts, further north.
Here, there were about forty of the lovely birds on this hawthorn tree in my garden. Normally, as soon as they see us, they fly off in unison. However, this is taken through a window which, I suppose acts as a blind. I was delighted to see them in the garden - more that they couldn’t see me!

" Let's not make this complicated, I know you
Last night I had the strangest dream that you knew me too
But you need to wake up
I can't have you disappear
Just like my parent's house
I've become a visitor.. "

Yellowstone National Park is a nearly 3,500-sq.-mile wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho too. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope.

Took this shot from our Kitchen window with my 80 400 lens.

We knew that roe deer visited our yard, it was clearly visible in the hoof prints. It was also not to be overlooked that our roses, sedum and other flowers had been snacked in the past few days. But we did not expect that a deer would visit our garden during the day while we were sitting nearby in the kitchen....
This little chap is a daily visitor who appears on the fence outside our kitchen door every morning when he sees us put the light on!
Thanks for the kind comments and faves on my images; they are very much appreciated.
This beauty landed in one of my oak trees, one that happens to be right in my backyard and he perched about eye level with me. I was up on my back deck.
I got quite a few shots of him and waited a long time hoping he'd take off, but he outlasted me. I think he's still out there.
An image characteristic about a city in quarantine, not psycho like someone told, but a city hit by economic crisis. So wandering around the streets, you could see discarded equipment from closed clothing stores, surrounded by favorite animals!
Our next stop is one of Icelande's most impressive sites, just behind the visitor center. It looks spectacular in winter. Stay tuned, winter is coming!
I was so excited to have this American Lady butterfly come to my garden late last week! This is the first time that one has ever visited my yard!
I didn't realize Ophelia had followed me into my room until I went to put something in the closet... NYC
You are late to the party Mr. Crow.
Sorry about being away yesterday but I do not get out much,
Today was a dilemma as I had to solve my internet once again with phone calls and complaints, then I had to figure out what I could post. Then, as always a two for one deal popped into my head. Happy Bench Monday and then share it with my Teddy Bear Tuesdays.
