La segona foto que vaig poder fer De Helper Molen, bé de fet el vaig fer més, crec que és un dels problemes que tinc que faig massa fotos, i després filtro molt i finalment en queden poques, potser hauria de ser més selectiu al moment de fer-les, és una assignatura que tinc pendent, però això ja és un altra història. Les dues fotos tenen la mateixa composició, però moments de llum molt diferents i les dues m’agraden força, l’altre ja la vaig publicar fa temps.

Una de les fotos que tenia vistes també d'Amsterdam, és aquesta zona. Un cop allà, no és evident fer aquesta foto, m'explico. El lloc per posar-te a fer la foto és un racó al costat d'una terrassa que si està plena és una mica incòmode, cal fer una panoràmica, en aquest cas de 10 fotos i tens just davant una barca vella amb ple de branques que fan més complicada la foto. Estàs també, just a sota un arbre i cal estar atent amb les fulles com es col·loquen perquè o no surtin o surtin a bon lloc. Tot i les condicions, estic molt content del resultat, i és una foto que m'agrada molt.

Un dels llocs clàssics per fotografia a Amsterdam és a Damrak, al costat de l'Estació Central, un lloc amb moltíssima gent i on amarren molts del vaixells turístics que et porten a fer una volta pels canals. La foto que volia, la tènia més o menys clara, és la foto típica, la volia al vespre o nit amb les llums de les cases obertes. Després de passar per altres llocs de la ciutat per fer fotos, i just abans d'agafar l'últim tren del dia que em portaria al càmping a dormir, vaig parar aquí, amb ja no tanta gent al carrer com durant el dia. Una exposició de 30 segons per aplanar el màxim l'aigua i aconseguit el reflex més net possible, però sense cremar les llums.

Step back in time to WWII at the house of Anne Frank where she wrote her infamous journals while hiding from the Nazis.
Anne Frank’s family had to go into hiding during the second world war on July 6th, 1942. They found shelter in Otto Frank’s work building, which had a back house with a secret annex. Anne Frank--along with 7 other people--lived for two years in the upper floors in hiding. This is where Anne Frank wrote her diary. Her diary is now one of the most important and most read books in the world.
En algun lloc havia vist una foto d’aquest lloc, però no recordo on, la qüestió que a l’estar per la zona vaig voler atansar-me per veure com era el lloc i si podia fer una foto. Va quedar una foto bastant senzilla i minimalista, un estil que com ja sabeu m’agrada força. Els tons blaus de les últimes llums del dia, i la torre, generen un bon contrast amb les llums del pàrquing ataronjades que et guien al centre de la imatge on està l’hotel.

És un dels spots més coneguts d’Amsterdam, aquell dia estava sol aquí fent fotos, potser perquè plovia un munt, de fet en arribar vaig passar de llarg i vaig anar a menjar alguna cosa per deixar-passar una estona a veure si afluixava, i després vaig haver d’anar parant i refugiar-me de tant en tant, i és un lloc on no hi ha gaires sostrets per no mullar-se. Així que podia estar tranquil·lament i col·locar-me on volgués. Primer esperava les llums enceses i després traces de vaixells en total devia estar un parell d’hores per tenir la foto que volia, de totes les que vaig fer, la que més m’agrada és aquesta sense les llums dels vaixells, però ja amb les fanals encesos. Lo únic que no m’agrada és que els arbres estan moguts, però per tenir l’aigua llisa i el cel sense textura no podia fer un altra cosa que una llarga exposició.

Una foto que m’encanta, 0 original, és la foto que tothom fa a Amsterdam de les cases, però que sigui una foto que fa tothom no impedeix que no la facis també. Aquesta segona visita a Amsterdam que vaig fer anava amb la idea de fer algunes fotos, i aprofitava als vespres per això. Aquesta ja a l’últim moment abans d’agafar el tren cap al càmping. Compositivament, poc a dir, els 2 vaixells com a guies cap a les cases, una llarga exposició per treure un bon reflex i un joc de colors càlids i freds. Potser el que més destaca és el que no es veu, on estan els talls perquè no surti el que distreu, per al costat esquerre una llum molt potent de l’embarcador, i per l’altre costat, tot i que hi ha unes cases molt interessants i és una llastima que no surtin, la foto no seria simètrica, que era el que buscava en aquest cas, i més enllà un edifici amb llums verdes que no aporta al que volia fer.

Ja he posat vàries fotos d’aquest poble, Dokkum, un lloc preciós al qual vaig poder fer moltes fotos de les quals estic content, des de la tarda fins al migdia del dia següent amb llums prou interessants i canviants per diferents opcions de fotos. Aquí aprofitant la poca llum de l’hora blava i el cel bastant lliç vaig voler fer una foto minimalista on l’únic element a destacar és, el moli amb el seu reflex, que a més amb la llum taronja contrasta perfectament amb el blau de la resta de la foto.

Típic lloc que veus a Instagram i l’apuntes, així que quan vaig estar a prop de la zona, vaig anar expressament al lloc a fer la foto, és una zona residencial amb unes cases adossades molt maques, jardins i aquest llac. La idea que tenia al cap per això era amb un aigua tranquil·la poder fer un reflex perfecte. En arribar a lloc feia bastant de vent amb l’aigua molt moguda, el dia no tenia un cel maco, tampoc, així que cal improvisar i has de jugar amb el que tens, vaig pensar que tal com tenia el cel i l’aigua la millor opció era fer una llarga exposició per allisar els núvols i l’aigua, en aquest cas vaig fer servir el polaritzador, però a la inversa del que és habitual, ja que buscava el màxim reflex per aconseguir la semblança més gran de color del cel i aigua amb la idea de fer una foto molt minimalista on tinguem el color de les cases com a gran protagonisme i res més a la foto.

Hi ha diversos pobles fortificats a Holanda amb una forma curiosa, i sols es pot apreciar en alçada, aquest és un d'ells, un poble molt petit al nord dels Països Baixos. La llastima és que estant allà, tot i ser molt maco no es pot apreciar aquesta vista sinó és amb un dron o avió. En la ruta tenia marcat anar a visitar aquest poble, que avui dia és molt turístic i pots fer el tomb al poble per la muralla, tenen un molí també, llastima que el tenien en obres i no li vaig poder fer cap foto, l'única opció de tenir una foto maca va ser aquesta on veus tot el poble i la forma que té. Mirant de centrar al màxim la imatge i que sigui el més simètrica possible i amb la llum daurada que entra per la cantonada.

El primer cop que vaig visitar Kinderdijk, no vaig trobar aquest lloc, de fet tampoc el buscava, vull dir que no el vaig veure. Preparant aquest darrer viatge i havent vist alguna foto d’aquest racó el volia veure així que va ser qüestió de mirar on era i anar a buscar-lo, realment és un lloc molt maco, bueno tota la zona, però aquest racó amb el pont i els molins és diferent de la resta i prou interessant. Tinc una llum prou maca, però sabent el cel que es va posar després, que va ser brutal, és una llastima, però quan no fas viatges exclusivament fotogràfics has d’adaptar-te als altres. Compositivament parlant, és un reflex simple, a 30 segons per allisar l’aigua, després el moli gran a l’esquerra i per compensar el pont, però no a la dreta del tot per posar el segon moli en petit i buscar tenir els pesos el més ben repartits que he sabut.

A l'illa de Marken tenim el far, Paard van Marken, un far prou maco al que s'arriba per un camí a peu d'uns 30 minuts, un passeig interessant amb bones vistes, un cop allà no hi ha res més que el far, i pots seguir el camí per la costa o tornar per l'interior. Les fotos que tenia vistes d'aquest far eren a l'hivern amb l'aigua congelada i sense cap planta i no comptava amb elles, a l'anar a l'estiu estava ple, i per arribar al lloc on vaig fer la foto vaig haver de passar per les plantes aquestes però vaig aconseguir aquest punt de vista que m'agrada força. Feia una mica de vent així que per molta llarga exposició que fes no tindria el reflex del far, però vaig voler allisar una mica l'aigua, i tot i que les plantes surten mogudes, no és una cosa que em molesti i penso que li dona un toc interessant.

Si vols veure molins a Holanda, és molt fàcil i en veuras per tot arreu, ara un dels llocs amb més concentració és Kinderdijk, a prop de la ciutat de Rotterdam hi ha aquesta zona on hi ha aquesta zona de gestió de l’aigua plena de molins i que és patrimoni de la humanitat per la UNESCO. Són una sèrie de canals amb molins al costat, aquesta és una de les imatges típiques on veus el canal i varis dels molins que hi ha.

Amsterdam is the capital and largest city of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Netherlands Dock and Shipbuilding Company-- known as NDSM --was the largest shipbuilding company in the entire world from the 1920s into the 1980s. After bankruptcy forced the shipyard to close, a group of artists and creative minds decided to join together to repurpose the abandoned area. The outcome exceeded anyone’s expectations: the people of Amsterdam were able to transform this once empty space into one of Amsterdam’s most aesthetic spots.
De Pier a la Haia, és un d’aquells llocs que m’agrada tornar. Ja fa uns anys que vaig anar per primera vegada als Països Baixos i un dels llocs que vaig visitar i dels quals tenia un bon record va ser el Pier, i aquest estiu en tornar a planificar les vacances a Holanda tenia clar que em venia de gust tornar a fer un tomb per aquí, en aquest cas no tenia clar si faria una foto, però sí que tenia la idea de buscar una mica de sorra per fer una foto com finalment va sortir, amb el Pier com a gran protagonista, però amb sorra en primer pla, clar estem parlant d’una platja en una gran ciutat, i tenir una textura de la sorra decent i sense gent a la foto pintava complicat. Just al costat de la porta hi havia aquest petit monticle de sorra i sorprenentment no tenia cap petjada, així que vaig córrer per fer la foto, i sort, perquè poc després ja van aparèixer uns nens pujant i espatllant la textura de la sorra, sort que ja tenia una foto, ara cert que no vaig poder acabar de buscar algun ajust, però ja m’agrada com ha quedat la foto.

Un dels molts pobles molt macos a Holanda és Dokkum, i un dels seus molins és De Hoop. És curiós el tema dels molins, és com els fars, no sé que tenen que m'agraden molt i penso que són bons subjectes per fotografia. En aquest cas passejant per l'altre costat del riu vaig arribar a aquest punt on tenia aquesta vista del molí, la mica de nenúfars i herba dels volta'ns penso que són suficients per fer una bonica foto.

Dokkum, un poble preciós amb una àrea d’autocaravanes molt petita, però molt interessant, ja que està just aquí a la vora del riu on tens aquestes estampes. Ja he posat un parell de fotos dels molins d’aquest poble, fotos més “netes”, però en aquest cas vaig voler barrejar detalls dels vaixells amb el molí, una foto potser amb molts elements, però, així i tot, trobo que molt interessant amb el molí com a gran protagonista, i amb uns vaixells com a acompanyants molt destacats, la foto en aquest cas és format 3:2, però les restriccions de mides d’Instagram em fan retallar la foto i tallar el reflex del moli, i la “boya” blava, la segona foto és com toca. Una llarga exposició de 6 segons per allisar l’aigua, però sort que no feia vent ni es movia molt l’aigua, perquè sino tindríem els vaixells moguts.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (IATA: AMS, ICAO: EHAM), known informally as Schiphol Airport (Dutch: Luchthaven Schiphol, pronounced [ˌlʏxtɦaːvə(n) ˈsxɪp(ɦ)ɔl; sxɪpˈɦɔl]), is the main international airport of the Netherlands, and is one of the major hubs for the SkyTeam airline alliance. Schiphol is the principal hub for KLM and its regional affiliate KLM Cityhopper as well as for Martinair. The airport also serves as an operating base for Corendon Dutch Airlines, easyJet, Transavia, TUI fly Netherlands, and Vueling.
Schiphol opened on 16 September 1916 as a military airbase. The end of the First World War also saw the beginning of civilian use of Schiphol Airport and the airport eventually lost its military role completely. By 1940, Schiphol had four asphalt runways at 45-degree angles. The airport was captured by the German military that same year and renamed Fliegerhorst Schiphol. The airport was destroyed through bombing but at the end of the war, the airfield was soon rebuilt. In 1949, it was decided that Schiphol was to become the primary airport of the Netherlands. Schiphol Airport was voted the Best Airport in Western Europe in 2020.
Schiphol uses a one-terminal concept, where all facilities are located under a single roof, radiating from the central plaza, Schiphol Plaza. The terminal is divided into three sections or halls designated 1, 2 and 3. The piers and concourses of each hall are connected so that it is possible, on both sides of security or border inspection, to walk between piers and halls, although border control separates Schengen from non-Schengen areas. The exception to this is the low-cost pier M: once airside (past security), passengers cannot access any other areas.
Schiphol Airport has approximately 223 boarding gates including eighteen double jetway gates used for widebody aircraft. The airport adopted a distinctive design, with the second jetway extending over the aircraft wing hanging from a steel cantilever structure. Gradual refurbishments have seen these jetways replaced with a more conventional layout with the last two taken out of use in November 2024. Two gates feature a third jetway for handling of the Airbus A380. Emirates was the first airline to fly the A380 to Schiphol in August 2012, deploying the aircraft on its double daily Dubai–Amsterdam service. China Southern Airlines also used the A380 on its Beijing–Amsterdam route before removing the type from service at the end of 2022,[citation needed] leaving Emirates as the sole A380 operator at Schiphol Airport as of 2023.
Schiphol has large shopping areas, primarily on the ground floor, as a source of revenue and as an additional attraction for passengers. Schiphol Plaza not only connects the three terminal halls but also houses other facilities. This is a large pre-security shopping centre and the Schiphol Airport railway station. These facilities are also attracting general visitors.[citation needed]
The 1st floor hosts the luggage check-in lines, many of them automated, as well as various duty-free refund booths. Available seating is limited on this floor.
