dailydisneyland365: @smmashhleeyy In order to accommodate the new Star Wars Land behind Rivers of America, the River and the attractions included in it will be closed during construction until 2017 including Fantasmic!, which reopened in July of 2017
smmashhleeyy: Awe what a bummer! So after this week it will be closed? And do you know what attractions will be closed? I'm visiting the parks at the end of next month so I'm just curious! @dailydisneyland365
dailydisneyland365: @smmashhleeyy Unfortunately yes. Starting next Monday January 11, these attractions will close TEMPORARILY due to the construction of the new Star Wars Land. The Rivers of America will be drained and all boats including the Mark Twain Riverboat, Sailing Ship Columbia, and Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes will be closed until April 2, 2017 including Pirate's Lair and the Disneyland Railroad and all of it's stations. Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion will be closed to remove it's holiday layover including Grizzly River Run and Autopia, and will reopen this April 2, 2016. Fantasmic! will reopen next July 2, 2017. it's a Small World will close to remove it's holiday layover as well starting January 25 - February 6, 2016 and Splash Mountain will close on February 8 through April 18, 2016. World of Color will close January 19 and will reopen on February 2, 2016. Beginning January 25 - February 26, 2016, Soarin' Over California will be closed during the week and will only be open on weekends. Hope this was helpful!

One last chance to watch this beautiful performance before it goes on hiatus, and We have Fastpasses to both showings! Definitely not ready to say goodbye to Our favorite thing about Disneyland. We saw the last showing of Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular and many tears were shed. Today is definitely a hard day from saying goodbye to Fantasmic!, Big Thunder Ranch, Rivers of America, seeing the last showing of Aladdin, to @lotso_at_disneyland's last day, We are moving on with the changes and can't wait for the return of many of these next year!
