MSc in E-learning, School of Education Virtual Graduation, July 2nd 2010.
Second Life graduation held in parallel with McEwan Hall graduation. 4 MSc graduates graduated in Second Life with 8 graduating at McEwan Hall. The live feed from McEwan Hall was streamed in to Second Life.
18 Guests in total attended the ceremony in Second Life - university staff, current students and visitors from other universities.

Virtual Macbeth in Second Life developed by Kate Richards, Angela Thomas and Kerreen Ely Harper through a grant funded by the Australian Council for the Arts Literature Board, and sponsored by investor partner, the New Media Consortium.
It makes one really get into the role of Macbeth and gives people a better understanding of the play.

4-H Clover College is a four-day series of hands-on workshops for youth presented by Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County. Emphasis is on science, agricultural literacy, healthy living, career development and citizenship/leadership. Many of the projects made during the sessions are eligible to be exhibited at the Lancaster County Super Fair in July.
2021 Clover College featured 48 workshops with 93 youth who participated (varying from 1 to 15 classes each) with a total 627 class registrations. New workshops this year included: “Virtual Reality Building,” “All About DNA,” “Decorative Couching (sewing technique),” “Steak Science,” “On the Bike Path (bicycle safety),” “Derby Cars,” “Pop Can Casting (fishing know-how),” “Loom Weaving,” and “Care Blankets.”
In Lancaster County, the 4-H youth development program is a partnership between Nebraska Extension and the Lancaster County government. Learn more about Lancaster County 4-H at lancaster.unl.edu/4h.

Some test shots taken with Gran Turismo´s photography simulator. Nice practice for composing and adjustments. Nice rendering quality and light reflections. You can really have some fun.

A Very Virtual Christmas
Christmas, on the NBC island. The Rockefeller Center is one of the most amazing builds I have experienced. DestroyTV, Aimee Weber, Bedazzle Studios, Electric Sheep all involved. An accompaniment to this, a live band, namely Jaycatt Nico and Frogg Marlowe, playing some great piano, guitar music and interesting songs. There was NBC branding everywhere. We were encouraged to go and explore the Peacock Room at the top of the Rockefeller Tower.

Geo Explorer is a video game that will allow engineering students to inspect, design, and test flood protection systems virtually. It's being tested at Southern Methodist University by engineering students. bit.ly/1Cn7gGW.
