Un «Lifer» espectacular, que llevo tiempo buscando. Prepona praeneste virago.

We'll meet again...don't know where, don't know when.
I was out on Sunday and saw these two gentlemen having a chat. I was looking round their bikes and one said Hello.
I asked him if we'd met before and he and I then both remembered where it was - and pretty much everything we spoke about.
I knew which photos I'd taken that day so I looked back and it was a day in September 2018.
He told me back then that he would never sell his Yamaha Virago and plans to leave it to members of his family when he can't ride it any longer.
He is a really nice chap to speak to.
We've both had our Yamahas a long time, so I know how he feels.
PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.
I have virago and I did not find it to bad at all.
The “CabriO” cable car is the world’s first cable car with a roofless upper deck. The comfortable double-decker is the very latest in cable car technology. The lower wall-to-wall windows has space for 60 people. The sun deck, offers room for about 30 people. The guests can enjoy 360° panoramic views as well as the fresh mountain air. The car moves on two side-mounted support cables – a technological innovation.

Culprit: Red Alert 2 - 200 Meters
Fleet escort ekranomere destroyer (mis-designated by international classification systems as a cruiser, later corrected). While no hull number is visible in this example, it is typical of the class, most of which were harboured at Ballovyarny in converted submarine docks "sold off" to SPATTER★VF by HYDRATE as part of the obfuscation around Belera's early rocket programs.
The confusion stems primarily from analysis of early spy photography, which showed nearby GG-C-2 'Gormless' anti-shipping missiles being loaded onto a VVsch-14's cargo ramp—it later transpired that this photograph was staged, the missiles instead meant for a 'Virago'-class cruiser moored in another dock.

3/5ths of a "navy" and the game isn't even on yet, definitely doing better than the last two (I say, as the navy plan balloons from 3 "ships" to 5 >_<). Multi-view... probably tomorrow, just have to do the ortho renders.
I'd never really came into contact with the EU. That changed when I entered the AFOL scene with all of its new creations, and especially when I joined the staff of Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka, a role playing game on Eurobricks set between episode V and VI. It introduced me to the Shadows of the Empire storyline with its excellent stories, great music and awesome vehicles.
One of those vehicles is the Virago, Prince Xizor's personal ship. It was central to the latest episode of our game. The players were provided with a list of parts, and some parts were only known to a single faction. These parts had to be incorporated into a build as seed element, and the opponents had to guess what the seed element was. In the end, they had to create a model with all of those parts. That model was the one you see above. A model I had a lot of fun designing.
That was because the design came with a big amount of challenges because it had to be suitable for the episode. It had to be rather small but still recognizable, feature only common parts, be buildable in LDD, contain enough parts that were interesting enough as seed part... Quite a few constraints. They made that the model isn't entirely as I would like it, but still I'm really happy with the result that perfectly replicates the feeling of the original despite the reference material being a bit ambiguous. I'm also quite pleased I could incorporate a number of exotic elements into the model without forcing them in, and am very happy it has a play feature as well since it can transform into landing mode. And finally, I'm extremely pleased with how the renders came out!
I hope you like my rendition of the Virago, a ship that didn't have the pleasure of often being represented with bricks before. You can read more about it on Eurobricks, download the LDD file and find it on Rebrickable. Thanks for your attention and your comments!
I meet this fantastic man in a Motorshow in my hometown.. he was so simpatic and funny.. we made a lot of pictures together and I ride his motorcycle.. a Virago custom style.. great moments!

Yours Truly, on the Virago, which I wish I still had. Probably 1995, back when I cared about costume and role play of this sort. Yes, I rode that bike - it wasn't just a prop. I think I traveled about 120,000 miles on it in the few years I had it. Photographed in the garage of 549 Clinton St. in Toronto.
This was probably shot on Ilford XP1-400 with my Nikon FM2.

Her blooms in our street....Fraxinus ornus.
Édesitőszer neve : Mannit
Először a virágos kőrisből (Fraxinus ornus) sikerült izolálni, melynek kérgéből néha édes nedv, manna (mannit) folyik , ezért szokták mannakőrisnek is nevezni.
Playing with dolls again.
Did some sliding and added a hammer to the earlier posted PICTURE, to scare the living daylight out of my friends and ontacts who find this sort of image creepy. (Yes, you, and you, and you too!)
Hide when you see her rushing along. She is so mad with rage, she doesn't distinguish between friend and foe!
