Fool on the Hill is the fourth studio album by Sérgio Mendes and Brasil '66 released in 1968.

This is the first album featuring the second edition of Brasil '66. Mendes replaced all of the original band members (with the exception of lead singer Lani Hall). The dismissed members went on to form the short-lived group, The Carnival, which released one self-titled album in 1969. This is also the first appearance of Gracinha Leporace in a Sérgio Mendes album.

The album features two top 10 pop singles: the title track and 'Scarborough Fair'. The Simon & Garfunkel cover was featured in both the trailer and the soundtrack for the 1973 film Heavy Traffic.

What I want to let you know is that this album, which has been on my wish list for years, is always a pricey one and almost never found on discogs. I fell madly in love with a few songs from Full Circle with lots of wonderful #percussion by Alejandro Neciosup Acuna, Walfredo De Los Reyes and Don Alias, edited and performed in Jazz Latin Fusion. I first heard them on You Tube, these few awesome songs were uploaded by a best friend and brother, Dean a.k.a. "A Jazz Man Dean", obrigado ♪ ♫ 🎹

This album is one of my jewels in my record collection, as well as these killers below:

George Benson (born March 22, 1943) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He began his professional career at the age of 21 as a jazz guitarist. Benson uses a rest-stroke picking technique similar to that of gypsy jazz players such as Django Reinhardt.

Earl Klugh (/kluː/ KLOO; born September 16, 1953) is an American jazz guitarist and composer. In 2006 Modern Guitar magazine wrote that Klugh "is considered by many to be one of the finest acoustic guitar players today."

Love record stores, love vinyl records, but most of all "Good Music"

Discos de vinilo extrusionado por lefreak.

The Expansions a South London quartet.

Mosaic is a heavy new three-track EP from a band whose reputation exploded this spring with the release of debut album #Murmuration.

Lead track Mosaic is full of the warmth of this heatwave-summer, syncopation and groove in abundance. Driving melodic lines and keyboard atmospherics suddenly give way to one of James O’Keefe’s most powerful guitar solos to date, wild and psychedelic.

Transcoso brings you the down-tempo magic that they have become so much loved for. Heavily inspired by Azimuth, an hypnotic beat from drummer Jonny Drop eventually builds to a euphoric, almost slow disco climax for the final section.

And finally, #Mariposa is a timely #tribute. Debuted at their London album launch this take on the #Freeez #classic (although the live version in particular) explores a little more of the South London, #BritFunk influences that really drive the band.

If there is one artist that has truly become synonymous with jazz re:freshed over the years, it is Kaidi - the energy, the skill, the showmanship, the innovation, the genius.

The vibe behind the West London/broken beats/nu-jazz scene as a core member of Bugz In The Attic, Kaidi's 5ive continues the lineage of jazz, fusing it with his own twisted funk, boogie and electronica.
