iPhone app creation with Zen Brush (in black & white), then I Photoshopped in the bold colors!

p.s. I felt that I needed to post an uplifting image after my last photo.

I was out shooting sunset at Cathedral Park, right below the St.John's Bridge and I see bubbles in the air - then there is the maestro "Hector Nunez" who has this passion for huge bubbles. He created his own bubble blower with fishing rods (yes!), hooks and some ropes. These bubbles were huge and he told me he was working on putting a human inside one of his bubbles :)

The St. Johns Bridge is a steel suspension bridge that spans the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon, USA, between the St. Johns neighborhood and the northwest industrial area around Linnton. It carries U.S. Route 30 Bypass. It is the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley and one of three public highway suspension bridges in Oregon. It is also the farthest north of any bridge on the Willamette.

The bridge has two 408 ft (124 m) tall Gothic towers, a 1,207 ft (368 m) center span and a total length of 2,067 ft (630 m). The adjacent park and neighborhood of Cathedral Park, Portland, Oregon are named after the Gothic Cathedral-like appearance of the bridge towers. It is the tallest bridge in Portland, with 400 ft (122 m) tall towers and a 205 ft (62 m) navigational clearance.

Youve been Vimed.... The abrasive cleaner really does get into the pours of the old treadmaster and pulls out so much of the crap it is great. It does tend to leave white powder residue so industrial forecourt cleaner was used to mop out the saloon once it was all scrubbed. Chewing gum scraping is next

Though primarily an extra-orbital vehicle, the Vim Viper is rated for ground operations. This feature is most often employed inside Colonies, as the Vim Viper is not capable of unaided atmospheric re-entry.

Bet you didn't think it could exist without a stand.

Crater Lake is a caldera lake in the western United States, located in south-central Oregon. It is the main feature of Crater Lake National Park and is famous for its deep blue color and water clarity. The lake partly fills a nearly 2,148-foot (655 m)-deep caldera that was formed around 7,700 (± 150) years ago by the collapse of the volcano Mount Mazama after an erruption.

Illusions..... Such a place doesn't exist in reality !

[What looks like a steep cliff is actually a 3 feet high beach sand formation made by a small stream of water flowing into the ocean. The photograph below shows the actual "cliff". The beach and the people were added to create an illusion of depth. And the sky to render some drama. The photos were taken at Varkala Papanasham Beach, Kerala, India]

I'd be lying if I said there wasn't even a small part of me that decided to do film in order to validate my passion for photography. It's so easy to be labeled a phony when you started in the modern digital era. So while that is a small part of my new-found joy... I must say that vast majority of my desire is far more noble. I am now enjoying my passion in a whole new light... and it really is an incredible feeling to have a final image that you know you had your hands on the entire way from capture to display.

It's really inexpensive (You can get a Seagull or Yashica TLR for like $150, film is $3.75 a roll, and an entire darkroom with chemicals for $50 if you don't go the luxury route) to get into film photography. Black and white processing at home is shockingly easy... and honestly even E6 (slide) film isn't super hard once you have the basic concept. I highly highly highly recommend anyone who's never done it to give it a go.

For“As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,

And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.

“Even after my skin is destroyed,

Yet from my flesh I shall see God;

Whom I myself shall behold,

And whom my eyes will see and not another.

I am not ashamed of the gospel,

for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes!
