My entry for vignweek day 1. The theme is classic set revamp, so I based my entry on 4950 The Loader-Dozer.

I’m not sure if I’ll have time to do many of the other days of vignweek, but I had a few hours today and figured I may as well take advantage of it. I’m not completely happy with this one and wish I had some more time to polish it and get better pictures, but I think it turned out alright for being built in just under 4 hours. I’m not much of a vehicle builder, so it was fun stepping out of my comfort zone for that, and I also tried something a little different for the base.

For #vignweek2022 a revamp of set 3634 Charlie Crow's Carry-All

My first ever entry for Vignweek. Obviously I went the Japanese-inspired route, and revamped a classic Ninja set.

Vignweek 2022, Day 2 (Theme: Lego Theme Mashup)

I'll be honest: originally I was going for Adventurers, but the villain speeder ended up being a bit too sleek. A blind poll reported people were feeling more Monster Fighters vibes, so here we are!

Vignweek 2022, Day 5 (Theme: Only Original Colors)

We made it!

Vignweek 2022 day 3 entry.

Vignweek 2022, Day 4 (Theme: CMF)

Whoops, our intrepid explorer dropped all his equipment in the plurple swamp! He can't actually frown, but his smile is about to get a little smaller.

not me desperately trying to enter my Mountain Hobbit phase.

Non-minifigure scale build for day 3 of Vignweek 2022

Spotting a Blacktron walker while out on a scouting mission Doctor Kelvin did not hesitate and used her trusty chainsaw to cut a hole underneath the beast's belly to enable lobbing in a demolition charge to take it out.

Built for #vignweek2022 day 6, prompt being to build a Star Wars scene in a Lego theme released before the year 2000, so here's Luke Skywalker taking out the AT-AT, but with Blacktron and Ice Planet.

Fifth day of Vignweek2022

Built for Day 4 of #vignweek2022

Prompt: Build a scene focusing on one of the Collectible Minifigures

I'm sure I'll do a breakdown of this model at some point, it is jam packed with interesting techniques!

A revamped version of the city pizzeria from 1994 (set #6350) The original box art had a beach setting vibe in the background, so that led to things like the palm tree and surfers. Based off of the size I got the impression of it being more of a permanent "food truck" style structure rather than a restaurant. So I decided to keep the same size footprint but added some more details. One change I made was rotating the ovens so they faced inside the store rather than out the back, and I split it into two separate ovens rather than one two layered oven. I also wanted to focus more on the setting rather than the vehicle that was originally included in the set. So I eliminated the delivery service and unfortunately that meant that the delivery driver got demoted to being a janitor.

Vignweek 2022, Day 3 (Theme: Not Minifig Scale)

I've wanted to do this one for a while.

For day 3 of #Vignweek2022

I decided to go microscale.

I hope you will like my take of futuristic cyberpunk city.

Built for vignweek day 4. My favourtie moc I built for vignweek so far, I actually enjoyed building this one and liked the end result. Quite happy with how it turned out considering I'm a star wars builder

For day 5 of #Vignweek2022

I built a space vignette using only classic colors.

I used light bluish gray instead of old gray.

For day 4 of #Vignweek2022

I built a vignette for the Sushi Chef minifigure from the Ninjago Movie CMF series.

The chef reminded me of Hattori Hanzo from Kill Bill, so I added a collection of swords at the back of this traditional sushi restaurant.

I also added a little bonsai.

spongebob kill

#Vignweek2022

Built for vignweek day 2 as a mashup of spongebob and star wars.

Here's my entry for the first day of VignWeek 2022. The prompt is Classic Set Revamp and I chose set 6949 Robo-Guardian from 1994.

I owned the set as a kid, so I still has some parts and I managed to keep some of the key feature of the set.

Built for #vignweek2022 day 5, prompt being to use only seven basic colours of Lego: Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green and Light Gray, along with their transparent versions.

A mix of 2 lego themes: Power Miners & Space for Day 2 of VignWeek 2022

A revamp of set 6089 built for vignweek day 1.

#Vignweek2022

The themes are not meant to mix. They were not designed that way. Such a thing should not happen. And yet, these themes have met. Those meddlesome undersea explorers have found Atlantis and the ancient portal, and now they've created a link to Ninjago. They must be isolated and terminated before they reach any other worlds. Send the themes in question to the aether. There, they will await their punishment. The themes shall rest in peace once more...

My entry to vignweek 2022 day 2. I'm not very happy with this one. I think the idea has potential, but my execution is lacking. Oh well.

Built for #vignweek2022 day one with the theme of Classic Set Revamp. This set was my fathers first Lego set in 1980. The pop corn brick is original from his set!

Quite outside my comfort zone style wise but given a single day build and a theme I've never built in I'm happy with it.

Oh and hi! It's been a while since I've shared anything here! Currently in the middle of a massive resort. Planning on being back to building and posting before the year is out.

A bit late for day 4 of Vignweek, as I had a longer work day than expected the day prior, but still throwing this up as a "hey i built something in like 2 hours nice".

Used the CMF Mechanic as my figure, wanted to build a little garage/hangout place for him.

Mix of Star Wars and Power Miners, built for #Vignweek2022 day 2 prompt! Pretty much a rush but I had a fun time building it!

A mix of 2 lego themes: Power Miners & Space for Day 2 of VignWeek 2022

I first participated in VignWeek, and I can say that it was amazing! Building days, a competing with very strong builders was very cool, and I am proud of my 13 place :) Thank you RebelLUG for hosting a contest and all builders for the best week of this summer

For day 4 of #Vignweek2022

I built a vignette for the Sushi Chef minifigure from the Ninjago Movie CMF series.

Here's my last entry for #Vignweek2022

The prompt was Classic/Star Wars.

The Dagobah Jedi Training reinvented at the time of Forestmen.

I used two different skin tones for the forestman and the forest elf (Luke/Yoda), to represent that they are different species. The other forest creature took the place of R2D2. I used lightsabers as door knobs and I had some fun with hats. The acorn hats are used, guess what... as acorns. I used an helmet with chi-guard for the tree and another hat as a mushroom at the back. I also tried to create some mist effect at the base of the tree, I hope it worked out well.

When the ninjas ruled the galaxy...

Here's my day 2 entry for #Vignweek2022

The prompt was Theme Mix, so I put together Star Wars and Ninjago, with a little inspiration from Star Wars Visions.

I spent a disproportionate amount of time tinkering (poorly) with Aqua Raiders as a kid, and a lot of time at friends' places with their Exo Force. With Vignweek's day 2 mashup theme and a conversation with a friend, eventually we settled on Exoforce and Aqua Raiders!

Maybe next year, Vidiyo x Jack Stone

Here is my take on on of the lesser known set from before year 2000, Commentator and press box. Build for day one of Vignweek 2022 hosted by RebelLug.

Here is my first ever Friends MOC, made for the mixed theme promt on day 2 of RebelLugs Vignweek. Mixing Friends and Aquashark (heavily influenced by set 6155).

Built for vignweek day 4. My favourtie moc built for vignweek so far, I actually enjoyed building this one and liked the end result

This is my build for the fifth day of RebelLUG's #Vignweek2022 challenge. The theme was to build in Lego's original colours, and I hadn't built a castle yet, so I decided to make a castle, and try to add a space-y feel to the scene.
