My third entry for vignweek 2020, a contest where you have to build a creation a day for a week. The third day's theme was post apocalypse, so here's my entry. I hope you like it!

Here's my entry for the first prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2020 contest, with the theme of a lair. Doing the Batcave was my first idea for this, despite never having watching any of the Batman movies before (which yes, I need to fix), and it seems like a few other people had the same idea too. Anyway hop you like it, I'm fairly happy with it, the rocks could definitely be better but I like how the overall look of this turned out, especially for it being built in less than half a day!

We'll see if I end up having enough time to get any more of the days for this contest done, but regardless, check out the contest and see everyone's submissions in the RebelLUG discord, I guarantee there will be lots of great entries!

The thin line technique is something I first saw used by BBricks Studios.

Detail pictures available here.

This is my moc for one of the #vignweek2020 themes. I messed up and submitted it 2 minutes after the deadline, but I am still very happy how it turned out!

I am very burned out of Star Wars lately, so you might see more original content.

My first entry for RebelLUG's Vignweek2020 contest. Today's task was to build a lair / hideout for a character. I decided to build this scene from the beginning of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story where young Jyn Erso is hiding from Director Krennic's Death Troopers.

Day 4 entry for the #vignweek2020 hosted by RebelLUG. Day 4's theme was classic pirates.

My third entry to the #vignweek2020. Hope you'll like it 😄!

This is my entry to RebelLUG's contest Vignweek2020 Day 5. The prompt was a "Space" and we had 24h to build. This one in particular was built in about 8h.

For this one, I decided to go for something different than usual, and depict real life space instead of fictional, and ended up capturing a couple astronauts going for a space walk outside the International Space Station.

I hope you'll like it!

My fourth vignweek entry, the theme being pirates. Originally, I had much grander plans, but ran out of bricks and time. Honestly, I'm not super happy with the MOC, although I don't think it's too bad considering the circumstances.

Guys and today I built a MOC for RebelLUG’s 2020 Vignweek! Today’s theme is “Rescue” so I made this😌 It looks good for me but I’m not sure if you guys like it. ~Adwin

Here's my second entry to the #vignweek2020. I'm curious to hear your thoughts 😃.

The Jedi purge is in full progress! The Fifth Brother has caught Ezra to use him as bait to capture Kanan.

I'm participating in vignweek hosted by RebelLUG, a contest where you have to build a vignette every day for a week. The theme for the first day is to build a lair scene, so here's my entry!

I mean, what are the three terrors of the Fire Swamp? One, the flame spurt-no problem... Two, the lightning sand, which you were clever enough to discover what that looks like.

I built this for #vignweek2020 where the theme was rescue.

Built for Day 4 of RL's Vignweek with the theme 'Classic Pirates' in mind. This turned out to be my favourite build of mine for Vignweek, I just love the hexagons and foliage I was able to incorporate.

Edit: Finished the MOC's right side (3 weeks later) and took a final pic for the build, enjoy!

C&C always welcome, cya!

Day 5 entry for the #vignweek2020 contest hosted by RebelLUG. The theme for day 5 was space.

"After being betrayed by her master, Asajj Ventress returns home, to the nightsisters lair in Dathomir."

This is my entry to RebelLUG's contest Vignweek2020 Day 1. The prompt was a "lair" and we had 24h to build. This one in particular was built in about 5h.

Hope you'll enjoy it!

Here's my entry for the second prompt of RebelLUG’s Vignweek 2020 contest, with the theme of rescue. I found it a bit harder to think of a theme this time, but after Roanoke Handybuck, and I unintentionally did the same idea for the first one, we decided to try and do the same idea for any of our future entries, hence why our builds are the same topic! Anyway, hope you enjoy this super rushed build, I’m pretty happy with Aslan but the pic didn’t turn out super great so it doesn’t look as good as in person, and the landscaping is trash. Whatever though, still had fun and it’s not too bad since I’m busy with other things too!

Remember to check out the contest and see everyone's submissions in the RebelLUG discord, there’s been lots of great builds so far!

Remfield Jacobson was traveling with a large crew aboard the feared vessel “The Sunken Dutchman”. This was no ordinary pirate crew. They were on a hunt for a map. A treasure map, said to contain the riches of a thousand gods. For years they searched. One foggy night at port in Singapore, Remfield discovered the secret. He had located the map. He contemplated himself. Should he remain loyal to his ship? No. He snuck out on his own on a makeshift raft constructed from what he could find on the streets. 3 months pass, and we find him here. The location of the treasure. A long ago abandoned pirate stronghold by the name of “The Arch Of Seranilla”. The riches will be his. But how far will he make it in the world after double crossing The Sunken Dutchman? This is my entry for day 4 of @rebellug ‘s #vignweek2020 . Each day we have 24 hours to build, the theme today was “pirate ”. This build took me about 8 hours. (It may look large but trust me this fits inside 32x32) Whew, doing rock work on a time cramp is not actually that fun😂. Fun fact: most of the time on this build was spent killing mosquitos in my room.

This is my entry to RebelLUG's contest Vignweek2020 Day 6/7. The prompt was a "Mixing Star Wars with another theme" and we had 48h to build. This one in particular was built in about 7h.

For this one, I decided to go with Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, ending up with a microscale mix of Vader's Castle on Mustafar, and the tower of Barad-Dûr in Mordor, and most notably a recolored Sauron's eye in Trans-Light Blue to match the color of flames created in Palpatine's sith rituals.

I hope you'll like it!

Here is my submission for day 2 of RebelLug's Vignweek competition. Here i have a scene from The Clone Wars season 7 where Rex and the bad batch go to rescue Echo, an Arc trooper thought to be dead, from the Separatists. Once again, I experimented with lights to show demonstrate the eerie setting of the control room. Hope you all enjoy! ;) Also, I had to go to Indianapolis for some *family matter* so unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in Vignweek any further. But you can expect a huge project for me to be starting once I return home! Stay tuned!

🎶🚨🎵 “The Noise In The Birch”

A lonesome camper is wandering the woods when he hears a noise... A siren.. Curious, he ventures to find the source. He is met with a horror beyond his belief. Luckily a nearby motorist heard the siren also, along with the campers screams. He rips to the rescue, and picks up the camper with seconds to spare. This is my entry for day 2 of @rebellug ‘s #vignweek2020 . Each day we have 24 hours to build, the theme today was “rescue”. This build took me about 7 hours. 🚨🚨🚨

Redbeard's Jungle Lair

------‐-----------------------------------

Hey everyone! I built this MOC for @rebellug 's annual #vignweek2020 build competition, for the day 1 challenge: to build a lair. In this build, captain Redbeard has set up a hideout in an underwater cave, accessible only through an underwater tunnel. The Imperial Soldiers are hunting for him and his band of rogue pirates, but are becoming slightly disenfranchised from the hunt as they discover the delightful native decorations.

This was a huge challenge to build; and I spent about 6.5 hours total working hard the whole time, starting at 11 PM last night😴. It is a rough build with a bunch of gaps and sketchy connections and I know I could have done way better and expanded it if I had more time, but for what it is I'm pleased.

I hope you enjoy it!

Entry 6 for the #vignweek2020 contest hosted by RebelLUG. The final entry called for a combination between Star Wars and another theme. I took a different interpretation to the entry requirements and combined Star Wars with the stylistic theme of cyberpunk to create the Star Wars Underworld. For every category we were given a day to build except this entry we were given two days.

This is my entry to RebelLUG's contest Vignweek2020 Day 4. The prompt was a "Pirates" and we had 24h to build. This one in particular was built in about 5h, two of which were to place all +1k 4L bars that make the water.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to participate in Day 3, due to Uni finals and work, but I might end up building an unoficial entry down the road.

I hope you'll like it!

My submission for day 1 of RebelLug's Vinweek competition. I really tried hard to experiment with light shadows, and the faint light bouncing off the walls to give the effect of underground sewers. And in case the name doesnt tell, this is from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This prompt's theme being Lair , I though it would be suitable to build some underground pipes that lead to the basalisk's lair. I also threw on some sinks at the top to represent the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. Hope you guys like it!!

This is my entry to RebelLUG's contest Vignweek2020 Day 2. The prompt was a "rescue" and we had 24h to build. This one in particular was built in about 3h.

Not very satisfied with this one, but here it is nonetheless.

Bellamy Davis and Jared Giovani have been traveling together for years since the fateful day when the nuclear bombs went off throughout the world. They have found refuge at Tobias Jenson’s biplane crash near the border of Nevada for the last 6 months. How long can the safety last? This is my entry for day 3 of RebelLUG‘s #vignweek2020 . Each day we have 24 hours to build, the theme today was “post apocalyptic ”. This build took me about 6 1/2 hours. I am not a big post apocalyptic guy, so I had less inspiration for this build than my others. Not super happy with it. But et eez what et eeeez.

Guys today I’m showing you my entry for #2020vignweek It’s a RL’s annual contest so I participate in this! The first theme was “Lair” and I built a hideout of the people in the Cyperpunk city. I love making these minifigs but I was kinda rush this time. Finished it at 10:30pm for me😂😂

Built in just one day for Vignweek 2020. The promt required you to build a mashup between Star Wars and some other theme, and for me the choice of LOTR was obvious. As such, I originally had the Eye of Sauron replaced with the death star, but u also wanted a normal version, as seen here. You can find pictures of the Death Star variant here: legohobbitbuilder.wordpress.com/2020/06/09/the-eye-of-sau...

The Astromechs had had enough of their oppression and freed themselves. Now they rule over the galaxy with an iron fist.

I'm participating in vignweek hosted by RebelLUG, a contest where you have to build a vignette between every day for a week. The theme for the third day is to build a post-apocalypse scene, so here's my entry!

My entry for day 1 of the #vignweek2020 contest hosted by RebelLUG. The submission called for a lair, or someone/something hiding out, to be built on a minimum of a 16x16 stud space.

Day 2 entry for the #vignweek2020 contest hosted by RebelLUG. The submission called for someone/something being rescued.

The crew of “the decade” are making there way through an asteroid belt surrounding the leviathan nebula. Suddenly first mate of the decade’s crew shouts “Captain! We are detecting a large life form gaining from behind!” The captain looks to his feet. Realizing that the stories that had been told for eons were true. “Brace yourselves.” he said.

This is my entry for day 5 of @rebellug ‘s #vignweek2020 . Each day we have 24 hours to build, the theme today was “space”. This build took me about 4 1/2 hours. It fits within a 32 x 32 diagonally, if you want a picture with proof dm me :)

O'Niell cylinders have long been the subject of dramatic wonder and scientific theory. A curved spaceship, large enough to contain an entire civilization, could drift through space as a self-sustaining habitat. I created a cross-section of such a cylinder for the fifth prompt in #vignweek2020.

These minifigs relax in a post-apocalyptic world. This model is my second free-form MOC, so let me know how I did! The lifeguard is there to prevent his master from drowning, but he also weilds a weapon (just in case some violent minifigs come along). This buils is my submission to the third day of RebelLUG' Vignweek2020. Happy building!

The notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett found himself flying through the sky and into the stomach of a scarlacc where he has been ever since. This is my submission for RebelLUG's vignweek day 1.

This MOC is my submission for the sixth and final day of vignweek 2020. We had an exta 24 hours to be able to build over the whole weekend. The theme for today was Star Wars and one more theme - we were supposed to blend the 2 themes together and create an interesting and original MOC. As yuo can see, I came up with podracing in a medieval-caslte setting. The MOC is complete with a podracer being pulled by horses and tusken-sheep firing on the unsuspecting racers.

One lonely alien. This is day 5 of the @rebellug #vignweek2020 where the prompt was space. I decided to depict a lonely alien on his exotic planet.

The “Reaper Of Nar Shaddaa” was indited under serious murder charges across multiples systems to the republic. He was put in custody in a maximum security prison for the insane. In just two months he managed an escape. Word got out, after 3 Bith’s were murdered in cold blood in the lower levels of coruscant with a large machete. Now the reaper of Nar Shaddaa is navigating the streets of the underworld. The entire sector is under high alert. Every screen in the city has been instructed to inform civilians of this danger. How many valiant clones will face their ends at the hands of this phsyco murder addict? This is my 6th and final build for @rebellug ‘s #vignweek2020 . I pretty much built this all on the second day, minus the reaper himself. The whole thing took me about 9-10 hours. (Yes I printed little pictures for the signs, pls don’t disqualify me😭) The theme for this week was Star Wars + any theme you want. I chose to do a Star Wars/horror mashup. The contest has been really fun and I look forward to the next one. Gonna slow down with the builds for now😂

With 2020 coming to an end, it is the best time to review all the builds that I made during this year.

Overall this year brought a lot more variety than previous years in terms of themes and nature of each build going from the smaller vignettes built for vignweek2020 to the large and immersive Cyberpunk scene made for RebelLUG‘s Cyberpunk collaboration, from standard starwars scenes and dioramas like the Shipbreaking yard on Bracca built for BrickzLab Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order collaboration to a large space battle made for EmpireLUG's Empire AT War collab, and even a 1:1 blaster replica for RebelLUG's So Uncivilized collaboration.

Finally it also marks the first year I ever made a commission for someone in the SWTOR X-70B Phantom-class Prototype which remains the most challenging and intricate build I’ve ever made.

That being said I’d like to thank all of you that have accompanied me in this journey from the beginning and those who joined along the way, and let’s see what 2021 brings to us.
